"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!"
"Wha- oh it's just you guys," Y/n said letting out a breath.
"Oh come on Y/n it's your Birthday you could be a little more excited," Mina pouted.
"No, I am...really," you replied walking up to the others. Your eyes wandered over the weird thing placed on the table. "It's just...I can't think of the last time I celebrated my birthday" You felt tears well in your eye, not bothering to hold them back. The others stared dumbfounded.
"Thank you...thank you so much, you guys!" Y/n said embracing the group.
When you pulled away you stared again at the thing on the table. "Just what is that though?" you asked pointing at the table.
"You don't know what that is?" Kamanari asked. You shook your head.
"No way!?" Hagakure latched on to you, "My poor child!" You awkwardly patted her back...or what you assumed to be because of her shirt.
"It a cake," Sero finally answered.
"Yes it is used on one's birthday or other occasions such as weddings," Iida chimed in, his hand movements ever so present.
"WAIT! I'M GETTING MARRIED!?" you shouted, a blush evident on your face.
"No," Iida replied the same time half the girls yelled, "YES~"
The others trying to contain their laughter. You just blinked not sure who to believe. You turned to Todoroki helplessly, he gave a small smile.
"No, not yet," he replied. You nodded not sure why the way he put it made you all fluttery inside.
"Well let's get this celebration underway!" Sero declared.
"Yeah, hurry up you extras I want to leave already," Bakugou growled from his place against the wall.
"I'm surprised you even came, given that you don't even care half the time," Jirou said, twirling her earpiece on one finger.
"Shut it Ears!" he shouted.
"Now now you don't want to blow up Y/n's first birthday celebration," Ojiro chided.
"Whatever," Bakugou replied crossing his arms across his chest.
"Anyway here," Tsu said handing you a really big cutting knife. You looked at it from different angles.
"Todoroki if you could do the honors," Momo asked, clapping her hands together. He nodded and lighting his left hand he lit the 16 candles on the cake. You watched in awe as the different colored candles sparked to life with different colors. Red, blue, purple, green, looking like a rainbow on fire.
You reached out but before you could touch it, Todoroki gently pulled your hand away. You glanced at him quizically, "It hot," he said. You blinked coming back to your senses. I think I've been around Dabi for too long, Y/n thought, sweat-dropping.
"So what do I do with the knife, stab the cake?" you asked, twirling it in your hand.
"No!? You cut the cake," Uraraka replied chuckling. Maybe Toga too, for that matter.
You lifted your other hand to realize it was still in Todoroki's hand. A small blush appeared on your cheeks. You took a deep breath trying to calm your nerves.
The others started singing and after blowing out the candles you cut the cake. You pulled the piece out to reveal your favorite ice cream and vanilla bread. Placing it on a plate you stared at it helplessly not sure what to do now.
