THE REALITY

I wrote this story thinking about my province when I used to live in the Philippines. I also wrote this story thinking about my insecurity when it comes to relationships. I was scared that's why I couldn't get into one. It's okay to be insecure and scared, but always remember that you'll always be enough.

Be confident, because fate and destiny is also watching you. Love will come through.

CHAPTER ONE: IVAN

" I look out the window all by myself
you're coming all the way from there
it looks like a movie scene
in the moment that has stopped,
I walk in... if we happen to meet inside"

"SO what do you think?"

Humigpit ang pagkakakapit ko sa folder na kanina ko pa hawak hawak while presenting the photos that

I've taken last month para sa new photo book ko. I can feel my sweat in every part of my body. I'm just too nervous for this.

"I think it's beautiful..." the director smiles softly until he sighed.

Doon ko narealize that there's something wrong with my pictures. I can't help but look at the pictures sa screen.

"We will make a photobook for this." Ngiti niyang ulet na sabi.

The director is joking with me again with his sighs.

Ngumiti agad ako dahil sa sinabi ng director.

Ngumiti din yung ibang mga staff sa'kin and started clapping.

"The way you pictured every thing is so beautiful and the way you also made a paragraph and explanation for every part of the photo book? So perfect... totally you, Miss Manuel." he explained.

"Thank you so much! Thank you po talaga!"

I can't help but smile dahil sa saya ko.

I'm going to publish another photo-book of mine! Every time I take a picture and turn those pictures into a book excites me.

"Also... Miss Manuel." biglang nagsalita yung katabi ng director, she tried to fix her glasses before looking up to my direction.

"I heard you're planning for another photo book? Does that mean na meron ka pang ipepresent sa kumpanya?" she asks.

I was planning.

Actually... dalawa yung naisip ko na topic but the second one wasn't possible for now dahil wala akong time na gawin and to take pictures for that topic.

"I was po, but... I was too busy last time para sa ibang photo book for our other photographers so hindi po ako nakapag-picture po... but..." I paused, taking a deep breath.

"... I will be taking those pictures now and make a plan for it, could you give me some time for it?"

My name is Sophia Reene Manuel. I'm a photographer. 

Ever since I was kid talagang na-inlove ako sa pagtetake nang mga pictures.

There's just something about the world of taking pictures.

It was beautiful, amazing to capture those beautiful moments.

And now, I'll be publishing my new photo book. I had to research and take more pictures.
