CHAPTER TWO: SCARED

" your eyes and my eyes
the moment they bump into each other,
time stop "

"Handa ka na ba?" tanong niya sabay hawak sa kamay ko nang mahigpit, I sighed dahil sa ginawa niya.

This guy is too clingy, he's probably the most clingiest man I've ever met.

"The thing is... ikaw, handa ka na ba?"

I was teasing him because I know that he'll miss me.

Nawala yung ngiti niya as he takes my other hand and holds it with his, bumaba ang tingin niya sa mga kamay ko, playing with my fingers.

He was trying to hold himself back from crying.

Yes, he's actually surprisingly-- a crybaby. Natawa ako sa itsura niya, his lips forming a pout... he's so cute. like a little kid! I can't resist him sometimes.

"B-But... you're leaving so..." he sniffs.

"I'm sorry okay... pasensya na kung mauuna ako pero I'll see you again in Manila, right? you promised right?"I smiled at him, tiningnan niya ulet ang mga mata ko at tumango siya, he's really a little kid.

I'm leaving to Manila, tapos na ang summer vacation namin dito sa probinsiya so it's time for me to prepare for my school there sa Maynila.

Which means kailangan kong iwan ang isa sa mga taong pinakaimportante sa'kin. Me and Ivan will meet again after a month dahil nasa Maynila din siya nag-aaral.

So I don't understand why he's crying when I'm going to meet him again.

"I promised! susunduin kita sa first day mo and after that!" he said, raising his voice as he tries to hold his tears back, I laughed.

What did I do to deserve someone like him?

I thought na I'll never meet someone like this man, someone who's very in love... with me.

I can still remember the first time we met, I knew na I already had feelings for him that time dahil sa itsura niya... it was probably a love at first, that's what they call it.

"Really? You will?"

It was just last year, and now I'm a year older and so is he. we're actually the same age and here I thought na mas matanda siya sa'kin.

Niligawan niya ako for months before I said yes to him but we have a tiny problem.

"Sophia!"

Hindi alam ni dad or even my stepmother that I've been dating Ivan for a while now.

"Ivan..." I pulled myself away from him as I can feel him kissing my neck again.

This is bad, we're too young and we're already doing some things that we shouldn't be doing.

I know na we just started months ago pero it doesn't mean na I wouldn't call this relationship a bit faster than my other ones dati sa Maynila.
