OUR LOVE SCENE

"Okay ka na?" tanong niya ulet sa'kin habang nakangiti siya nang mapait.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko nang mahigpit habang naka-upo ako sa kandungan niya.

After what I had just confessed to him, kanina pa niya ako yakap yakap at kanina pa rin din niya ako hinahalikan sa iba't-ibang parte ng katawan ko except my lips.

He's trying to comfort me knowing that I cried right in front of him, which was embarrassing.

Very embarrassing.

"Yes, I told you... but this, wouldn't stop me from leaving this place..." I added, staring right back at his piercing and beautiful dark brown eyes.

His expression changed the same, playing with the strands of my hair havang nakatitig pa rin siya sa'kin nang mariin, puno nang mapapait at masasakit na damdamin mula sa mga mata niya kahit na hindi niya man sabihin sa'kin. Alam 'kong nasasaktan siya.

"I know, I want to... I want to stop you, what can I do to make you stop from leaving me?" he whispered in a low voice, I felt his hand tightened around me too.

"I'm sorry... I'm really sorry, trabaho kasi..." excuse ko.

I heard a small chuckle from his lips sabay balik ang mga mata niya ulet sa'kin.

"Stop lying to me, Sophia. Or I'll take you right here, right now..." he whispers in a seductive tone this time.

I pat his cheeks gently with a grin in my lips.

As much as I do... want him to take me right here, right now. Hindi pwede. I need to return to Manila because I already booked tickets there. I will miss him. I will really miss, Ivan. It actually feels so much better to reveal and confess everything to him.

Nakakahiya, of course. But inside me, ang naramdaman ko lang talaga ay sabihin sa kanya ang lahat bago ako umalis.

Iniisip ko rin na baka ito na rin ang huli na'min, but here we are... me on top of his lap.

"But you know, Sophia..." he spoke.

"I have... to tell you something," he paused, taking a deep breath.

This time, ako ang makikinig sa kanya. I want to listen to him, properly. He listened to me, he's a really good listener so this time... I will listen to him and to his words.

"It was also hard for me 'nung time na 'yun. When you... lied to me, nasaktan ako."

Oh no.

"Nasaktan ako, dahil minahal kita. But you were out there, hanging out with your friends and classmates but you know, you didn't have to lie to me. We could've had a proper conversation but the thing that I hated the most... was your ex,"
