Chapter 23: One on One's and Family fun

I forgot how to breath as I saw my mother and father standing before me. 

"What dear, did you forget your manners! Come over here and give your parents a hug." Mom said, and I felt fear burn through me. My parents didn't give hugs, they gave bruises and scars, and the hug was just so she could cut my wings. 

"What... What are you doing here?" I whispered, finding a bit of voice.

"Kiara told us!" Mom said and my heart broke and froze over as I whipped my head toward Kiara. She looked uncomfortable and slightly guilty. 

"Mr. and Ms. Heart, it's so good to see you." Kiara said as she and James stood there awkwardly but angrily looking at us. I was shaking with anger when suddenly I felt a hand on my arm pulling me and looked to see Shoto. 

"Sorry maybe later, my dad, Endevor the number two hero, wants to meet her." Shoto said as he glared at my parents. We began to walk away but my father caught my arm and tightened his grip. 

"She can meet him later, right now we have to talk to our daughter boy. So get lost." My father, wait no Oscar, that's his name, growled at Shoto. I shot a glance at Shinso, Katsuki and Shoto and said into their minds, Go find my aunt or dad! Get aunt midnight! HURRY! 

They looked at me and nodded running off, but Katsuki looked at me and his eyes seemed to burn with anger as he seemed to remember something. He looked at my parents and growled as he took hold of my waist.

"How about you let go of her you sick bastard!" Katsuki growled in a low tone, and I instantly felt a terror like no other. Katsuki always yelled and he was only ever quite and soft with me. But this, the low voice and the harden eyes, he looked.... murderous. 

 Then it hit me. They all heard me in the hospital that day. And Katsuki was overprotective. 

"Kat, it's okay let go and go to lunch. I'm fine." I told him, telling him silently to go find help, he looked at me as if to say, You already have two extras doing that. 

KATSUKI'S POV

I stopped being mad at her the moment I saw her body freeze with fear at the sight of her parents. She looked so much like the women in front of her, except for the white hair, and so little like the man, who was big and bulky. He was built like a damn bear, and had scars on his handsome face to prove it. Damn Mindfucker (shinso) put his hand on her back and that set me off. For the last week she's been talking to that bastard, telling him things she should be telling me. Things she should be comfortable telling me. Her mother asked for a hug and Elektra stepped back, and suddenly Icy Hot was grabbing her and trying to take her away. But her father caught her and held her wrist to tightly. Elektra turned back and spoke to us mind to mind, telling us to go get help. Mindfucker and Icy Hot ran off but I looked at her parents and heard Elektras screams in my ears, heard her pleading for someone to help her. Begging not to be burned. I growled and pulled her to me, wrapping her in my arms as her father still held on. 

"Back up boy, this is none of your business." Her father said, and I just snarled at him.

"SHE IS MY BUSINESS YOU DAMN BASTARD! SO LET GO!" I yelled drawing attention. Her father looked around and her mother was about to say something when a red haired women clothed in a gold body suit and matching combat boots yelled, "WHAT'S GOING ON!" 

Her parents turned to Icy Hot and Mindfucker walking with a angry Eclipsa as she seemed to grasp the situation fully.

"Well hello sister mine, nice to see you bitch." Elektra's mother sneered at the Eclipsa whose face stayed neutral. But her eyes burned with fire.
