I rushed out of the gym before everyone and hauled ass to the girls bathroom, changing my clothes in a rush. I was bolting out the bathroom, hopping as I shoved my foot into my Knee High platform combats and I bumped into a muscular chest.

"Ops, sorry sir." I said as I looked up and into the brown eyes of James.

"Hey..." He said rubbing his neck and looking away.

"Hey..." I said smiling at him without a thinking. James didn't do anything wrong, and to be honest I did miss his company, but he just reminded me to much of home and the past.

"Listen, I'm in a rush but before I bolt I just want you to know this. I do miss you and your company and hopefully we can hang out soon. Maybe even get the old gang together and go out to our old spot." I said and he whipped his head back to me, his eyes wide.

"Re-really? Because I would love that, and Trixie feels personally offended and replaced." He said laughing a bit, and I never knew how much I missed the sound until I've heard it again.

"Ah damn, Trixie is unreplaceable. How bout this, after the internships lets hang huh? And lets invite the whole fucking gang and terrorize the the city for one night." I told him with a wink and he smiled a devious smile.

"I'm holdin you too that Princess." He said and leaned close, his eyes now a golden brown.

"James?" Kiara said from behind us and we both looked at her, and I ignored the group she came in with. I realized that James had a bouquet of roses and chocolates behind his back. I looked at them and they instantly changed to tulips, her favorite.

I liked roses.

"Well it was nice catching up with you, go get em tiger." I said and sprinted away.

"I'm a lion hybrid." James yelled out, using my old nickname.

"And I'm the baddest bitch." I yelled back and heard laughter.

KIARA POV

I had been paired with Bakugo for training today and he seemed... off, and we worked in silence for half of class, the only time he showed emotion was when he heard Elektra laugh or talk or breath, he would whip his head in her direction. She was with that Sero guy and they've been giggling wildly throughout the whole class.

"Hey, when were in training, you can't allow anything or anyone distract you. That can be your fetal mistake." I said as I threw a punch so fast he didn't have time to catch.

"Tch, don't tell me what to do extra." He growled and turned his head back to me.

"The person we love can be our greatest strength or greatest weakness, depends on the nature of the relationship. And right now, she's looking more and more like a weakness and distraction." I growl back trying to catch him off guard, but that only seemed to make him more pissed off. He went half feral and began making explosions.

"TAKE THAT BACK KNIFE BITCH!" He yelled at me and everyone looked our way. I held up my hand to signal Aizawa that it was okay.

"Shut up and fight me. That's the best way to let out frustration." I told him and his eyes shifted a bit. I understood his need to be physical, his need to fight it out. I was the same way, and for the remainder of class we worked hard, speaking little but communicating on different and deeper level. When the bell rang and class was over, Elektra zoomed out the door as the bakusquad walked toward us.

"Damn Kiara, you were really beating his ass." Sero said I giggled. I actually liked hanging with the bakusquad, even Mina, she reminded me so much of my friend Trixie. We all left the gym together making jokes and laughing hard. Bakugo even huffed a laugh and smirked a bit at some of them and my breath caught.
