It's been a month since the Combat training incident, and ever since then an unspoken truce has been struck between Kiara, James and I. I've trained hard everyday, doing mental exercise and talking with Terra more often. Since my quirk and beast both respond off my emotions, I've been practicing control even when I'm mad. I've been training with Shinso, Izuku and Shoto almost everyday after school. I hang out with Mina, Kiri, Sero, Denki and Bakugo at lunch. They've sort've become my protection squad since days after the training someone called me a monster. It shouldn't have affected me that much but my mind flashed back to the moments I was conscious, James yelling at me.

*Flashback*

"What the hell Elektra?! You almost killed her!" James yelled at me. I was in a hospital bed in the nurses office with Deku, Kiara and James.

"Hey calm down. She didn't mean it and Kiara isn't all that innocent." Shinso growled out, and came to stand between me and James.

"Stay out of this Shinso, this is between the three of us." James growled back, pushing past Shinso.

"Guys calm down, both Kiara and Elektra are hurt, they need rest." Izuku said, looking worriedly at the situation.

"What the hell happened Elektra? First you take Terra away from Kiara-"

"I didn't take anything! I was chosen-"

"The elders chose Kiara-"

"Fuck an Elder James, I was chosen by Terra herself! She chose me, a young women with courage-" I began but he cut me off with a snarl.

"Courage! The girl out there didn't have courage. The girl I saw out there wasn't my best friend. What I saw today was a monster. A beast who gave herself completely over to her instincts. An animal!" He shouted at me and the world turned black."

*End of flashback*

It was a period before lunch and Present Mic was droning on about words. I usually would be more active in class but I felt myself drifting away as I stared out the window. My phone buzzed and I looked down to see a message from Katsuki.

"Hey short stuff you good?

I smiled and typed back.

Yeah and?

I was surprised by his text. Usually he would've said whatever or no or used all caps to scream at me but he didn't. I looked up to find a pair of beautiful crimson eyes looking at me from the corner of his eyes. He caught me staring and our eyes locked for a brief moment. I felt a zap and a feeling I never felt before flashed through me so quick I couldn't grab it back. Just then the bell rang and it was lunch time. I was gathering my things as the class rushed out, and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I spun around to find Katsuki looking at me.

"What's up Kit Kat?" I asked him, forcing a smile.

"Don't do that." He said gruffly but softly, putting his hand to my cheek and wrapping his arms around my waist to pull me close. I closed my eyes and leaned into the touch, and after a few moments I opened my eyes.

"It's nothing, I promise." I told him, not wanting to get him upset. He hasn't allowed Kiara or James to be anywhere near me, every time he saw them he always steered me away.

"Don't lie to me Teddy bear, I know somethings wrong-" He began as his was rising just then Aizawa walked in and we whipped our heads toward him.

He looked between the two of us, Katsuki still holding me close. Dadzawa looked at Katsuki with narrowed eyes, his hair starting to defy gravity.
