ELEKTRA POV:
We got home around 4:30, and Dad looked at the bags in our hands.
"What did you guys get?" Aunt K asked with excitement. She was in her hero costume and dad was patching up her back. She must have gotten into a fight.
"Oh some gifts, we picked out our outfits for the dance, and-"
"Racism." Both Shin and Mina growled as we walked further into the house.
"Baby are you-" Aunt K began but I cut her off.
"It's fine." I said and walked up to my room with our bags. I could hear Shin and Mina explaining what happened and I tuned them out. I walked into my room, plugged my phone into my speaker and blasted music. I sang along to the music as I stripped to my underwear. I was going to pamper and groom myself before Katsuki got here, I wanted to feel and be at my best tonight. I grabbed my body scrub, my co-wash and shower cap and stepped into shower. I sang a long with Doja and Sza as they sang about wanting a boy to kiss them more. I heard Mina's voice and smiled. This was our song, and as I got out the shower I saw Mina singing and dancing and joined in as I wrapped my robbed around myself and shimmed to my vanity. Grabbing the Leave In Conditioner, hair jelly and the defuser, I began to work on my hair, taking care to define the tight curls. I put on little to no makeup, just doing one of my signature eye looks and doing my brows. Today I wanted to show him all that I am and all that I was. I wanted him to see me in my natural state and like what he sees.
I wanted to show him the real me and love it just the same, maybe even more.
"Damn ma you lookin good." Mina said all sexy like.
"Shut up it ain't that deep." I said with a smile. I walked over to my mirror and took a picture to post later.
