The Double Date

"I have to tell you guys something." I said as soon I sat in the car.
"You look excited, what is it?" Hoseok asked from the driver's seat.
"Actually, I and Namjoon both have to tell you something. Let's get to college first then we'll talk."
"You and who? Namjoon? You and Namjoon?" It seemed Yoongi got the shock of his life.

I was a little jumpy, well I was very happy because I finally have a boyfriend! Namjoon had told me that he'll meet us before our first class. We were waiting for him near the stairs.

"I don't really understand what's going on, but if I get late for my class-" "You won't Minki" Yoongi was cut off by Namjoon. "Good morning Jinie" and he kissed me on the cheek. He hasn't stopped calling me "Jinie" since he first said that, and honestly I love it! "Good morning" My voice was barely a whisper because I was so shy. "I think it will be better if we talk during the lunch break" Namjoon suggested and we all went towards our classes.

*lunch break*

"OH MY GOODNESS! You People! Like seriously? Please don't say you're joking. You can't believe how happy I am" Hosek screamed so loudly the whole canteen turned to look at us. "Hoba calm down please" Namjoon tried calming him down. "Yeah exactly. Why are you freaking out? Didn't these fools look already in love, to you? I'm not surprised at all" Yoongi said with the same smile he has when he sees me and Namjoon together. "Let's just sit and talk, I'm hungry." I suggested.

We ordered out food and Namjoon carried my order to the table. Once we sat down Namjoon held my hand below the table. "So when did this happen?" Hoseok couldn't stop flashing his heart smile at us.

"Yesterday we went to Aunt Mariana" Namjoon started but got cut off by Hoseok. "YOU BOTH ALREADY WENT ON A DATE?!" Hoseok is always so loud, it made the three of us chuckle. "Calm down Hoseok, it was just an apology treat." I said giving him a glass of water. "Apology treat? Apology for what?" He looked so confused. "What else have you been hiding?" Yoongi sighed.

So we told them everything, right from the beginning till the end. How Namjoon pissed me off unintentionally, how our brothers planned our meeting without informing us, how during each passing day we fell in love with each other more and more and finally how we found out that the feelings were mutual. It felt good to reflect on what happened in the past month. It made me realise how far I have come and how much I have fallen in love with this beautiful human being.

"Woah- That's a lot to happen in one month. But I'm so happy for you guys." Hoseok was really smiling ear to ear. "I was thinking, you guys haven't been on an actual date, so why don't we four go on a double date?" Before I could say anything Yoongi started, "Ah Hoba, are you mad? They are a new couple, let them enjoy their time together. We'll go sometime later."

"It's okay Yoongi. Even I was thinking the same thing, I think it'll be fun." I said. "Are you sure?" He wasn't convinced. He thought I'm saying this to be nice, but I really want to go on a double date. "Yes, we are very sure. Minki you will not disturb us if that's what you are thinking" I guess he was convinced with what Namjoon said. Hoseok let a squeal, "Okay then tomorrow! I can't wait" He jumped to hug Yoongi who reluctantly hugged him back. They are definitely the cutest couple, they are polar opposites but love each other so much.

"Why are you always late?" Yoongi asked chuckling. "Sorry, I slept." I sat down in the back seat. I noticed they both were wearing matching jackets. Even I and Namjoon decided to wear matching shirts, he says it's a 'couple thing'. After 20 minutes we stopped at a parking lot. It was huge and was spilling with cars. The party music was coming from somewhere, I assumed that this was a club or something. We pulled over and Yoongi parked beside a car, I looked closely and it was Namjoon's convertible. I looked around for him but couldn't see him anywhere. "Umm... where is" The car door opened from outside and Namjoon held out his hand "Looking for me?" I took his hand and stepped out of the car. He kissed my cheek and this time I too gave him a peck on the cheek and he flashed his dimple at me. He's shy.

"Is this a club?" I asked looking around. People were so heavily dressed, sequinned tight dresses, heavy makeup and smoking like hell. "Yeah, sort of. It is actually a frat house but it doesn't look less than a club" It seemed Hoseok wasn't too happy to be here. He was a bit nervous and was continuously looking around. "Let's go inside" Yoongi said looking at Hoseok, and Hoseok's eyes widened. We walked towards the house together, Namjoon kept his hand in my back pocket and that kept us so close, I could feel his body warmth. I looked at Hoseok and Yoongi, they were walking ahead of us. Hoseok seemed more nervous now, Yoongi held him by the waist and kissed him on the head.

"What's the matter with Hoseok? Is he okay?" I asked Joon. He let out a small laugh and said "He's just nervous. You know that guy can't lie. His sister told him not to come here, but he still came. He's afraid someone would tell his sister something."
"We could have gone somewhere else. If he's not comfortable coming here"
"He himself suggested this place. It's okay, don't worry so much."
We came to a very large lounge area. It had two pool tables at one corner, the kitchen counter was arranged with racks to hold alcohol bottles, there were huge sofas everywhere and people were spilt onto them. We chose one corner and sat down. The party music was loud but yet it was fun. The last time I had been to a party like this was in Ulsan. The difference was that in Ulsan nothing felt right but here everything was right.

We played games, drank, laughed. I got introduced to a lot of new people. Some were friends of Namjoon, and they don't go to the same college. After a few minutes I saw Yoongi whisper something into Hoseok's ear and they got up and left.
"Let's go" Namjoon whispered in my ear too. Was this some kind of code word? I got up after him. He held my hand and guided me through the crowd towards the stairs. In a few minutes, we were on the terrace.

The breeze hit my hot cheeks and it felt refreshing. I looked at the people who were in the garden, kissing, holding hands and sitting on the other's lap. I spotted Yoongi and Hoseok in a corner, they seriously looked the best together. "How long have they been together?" I asked. "Four years now" Namjoon said back hugging me. "Oh it's-" I froze as I felt Namjoon's cold lips on the nape of my neck. He laid a trail of soft kisses from the back of my neck right till my cheek. He slowly turned me around and pulled me closer to him. He took my hands and placed them behind him and put his hands in the back pocket of my jeans, leaving no gap between us.

"You were saying something" He asked. "I- uh-" I was stuttering, he was so close I could feel his heartbeat so loud or was it mine? "Look at me" I slowly lifted my gaze and his lips were just millimetres apart. "I was wondering how it will be after four years, will be together? I want to travel with you, visit places, I want to be with you for the longest of time..." Namjoon looked at me for a bit too long. I closed my eyes as I thought that was going to kiss me but he started pulling away. I opened my eyes and he was standing, hands in pocket. I gave him a confused look but instead of asking or explaining anything, he said "Umm... I think we should go home" I just nodded and followed him. The drive back home was quiet as he didn't speak anything nor did I. He dropped me in front of my apartment and didn't even care to say goodbye.

I stormed into my room and plopped on my bed. After a few seconds, tears started coming down from my eyes. He did it again. He again made a fool of me. How can I be so stupid and let him make a fool of me again? And why does he keep doing this? I never ever did anything wrong with him. Why did he play with me like that?
