A/N's POV

They stayed silent as they walked around the park. Yeonjun noticed y/n had her head down with her hands in her pockets. It looked like she was scared of him. The boy started feeling bad with how he treated her before and he came back to fix it

Yeonjun: "you still don't wanna talk to me?" The girl didn't answer but continued walking. The boy sighed "look I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for everything" the girl looked at him with a curious face "I left you when you were at your worst and I'm sure you didn't have it easy when I left. I realized my fault after a few years and I wanted to make it up to you and give you a proper apology" The girl smiled to see how he changed. Actually no, he changed back to his old self

Y/N: "I'm glad you realized your fault but what you did to me can't be forgotten"

Yeonjun: "I know! That's why I'm here to do anything you want! I want to show you how sorry I am for hurting you." The girl sighed and stopped walking making the boy stop.

Y/N: "you'll do anything?"

Yeonjun: "anything! I really want you to see how sorry I am" the girl hummed in response

Y/N: "can you stay away from me?"

Jay's POV

Jay: "bye guys!" I waved goodbye as they drove off. I entered our house and placed my backpack down in the corner tired from our hangout "y/n!" I yelled wanting to see her. I wanted to see her smile and her cheerful self. My phone dinged and I checked it

Hey Jay~ why didn't you say hi to me?
Don't you miss me? Why don't we hangout tomorrow? Let's have a date? What do you thing 😘😍

I rolled my eyes, I don't even know how this bitch got my number

Jay
Stop bothering me! I don't wanna date you! I like someone else. If you don't stop texting me I'm gonna block your number!!

I angrily placed my phone in my pocket and sighed looking around. Wait, what are y/n's suitcases doing down here? Maybe she just wants to return them to her old house for space? I approached them and lifted it. Wait it's stuffed with her belongings it's so heavy! I widened my eyes and rushed up to her room

Jay: "y/n?!" I barged in just to see her stuff all gone. Only a few things were left. I looked around to see if she left a note or something. Where the fuck did she go? I panicked and tried calling her but it didn't even ring. I messaged her a hundred times but she wasn't responding or picking up! ARGH! I threw my phone on the bed and sat down on the edge in anger. My feet hit something and I bent down looking at what it was. Did she leave something?

I pulled out the box and it was dusty. I brushed it off and opened it. I furrowed my eyebrows in curiosity and pulled out the first thing I saw which was a dried up flower. I put it down after scanning it and picked up a really broken picture frame. I could tell it was y/n but there was another person I just couldn't identify because of the crack. I put it down and picked up the next item. It was a letter, I opened it and read it

Dear love,

Hey y/n-shieee I miss you, I didn't get to see you yesterday, can we meet up by the park later? I'll get you ice cream if you want? You know your favorite flavor? Let's just hangout ok? I really miss you, oh and let's go to this new cafe during the weekend. I heard it's really chill and romantic. Anyway I'll be at the park later at 3:00pm see ya! I LOVE YOU BUD!

Is this the box of her memories with her ex? I placed the letter down and rummaged through the stuff. It was filed with photos of them in the amusement park, aquarium, zoo, park, normal dates, beach and wherever. She looked so young here, I looked at the back of one of the photos and it read the date. This was 8 years ago... so she was, 1st year highschool? I check the other photos and the one where they looked the oldest I picked it up and checked the date. This was 4 years ago, I tried looking for more photos with dates but all the dates only wrote from 1st year to 4th year highschool. So that means they were highschool sweethearts huh? but I noticed the pictures of 4th year highschool, y/n didn't look as happy as before. I got more curious and continued my search with the contents of the box

A/N's POV

Y/N: "can you stay away from me?" Yeonjun was shocked by her request

Yeonjun: "wait why?"

Y/N: "look I'm glad you changed, I'm happy you realized your mistake but, what you did to me cant changed my memory. I'll always remember it, I'll always remember the feelings I felt at those times" the boy bit his lip and looked down feeling bad for everything he's done in the past

Yeonjun: "I'm sorry and if that's you're wish I'll comply with it"

Y/N: "thanks Yeonjun, you can walk me back to my house if you'd like?" The corner of the boys mouth lifted to a smile

Yeonjun: "it's the least I can do"

As the two were walking back Yeonjun spotted a squirrel which he recalled y/n always loved seeing.

Yeonjun: "y/n lo-" he stopped as she flinched when he suddenly stretched out his arm to point it out in front of her. Ahhh I see what I did he thought. He looked at the girl with a sad expression. Y/n felt embarrassed but Yeonjun just kept blaming himself for causing this to y/n.

Y/N: "o-oh yeah a squirrel" the girl chuckled trying to break the awkwardness.

As they approached the house they stopped before entering.

Yeonjun: "I'm really really sorry for everything y/n. I promise I'll stay away from you but..." the girl looked up at him "but, when you're ready can we- I don't know can we maybe continue to be friends?" Y/n looked down. Maybe I'll be better in the future right? So why not

Y/N: "sure" they exchanged phone numbers and as Yeonjun was saying his last few words to the girl, she inserted her keys which Jay heard from upstairs. He placed back all the stuff inside the box and hid it under her bed again. As y/n entered Jay came down and spotted the two of them

Jay: "who the fuck are you?"
