Part 16 || wedding and forgiveness

A/N's POV

The giant doors of the church swung open and y/n stood there with the veil covering her face and that giant white gown that hugged her body so well highlighting her curves. Jay stiffened nervous about the whole thing. She walked down the aisle together with her father and Jay stared at her a loss for words. He couldn't see her face yet but he knew she was beautiful. Once they got to the altar y/n's dad stopped and faced Jay

Mr.Kim: "take care of my daughter ok?" He asked teary eyed making the boy nod. The dad kissed y/n's cheek and sat back down. Although it was an arranged marriage Mr.Kim was sad to let his little girl go. He wanted to make sure that Jay would keep her safe and happy. After all his little girl will be in the hands of her husband now. She's all grown up. Jay removed the veil and threw it behind the girls head. They stared at each other mesmerized by how beautiful/handsome the other is. She's so pretty... Jay couldn't think much. He was so in tranced by her beauty. So handsome... she thought while staring at him. Their hearts beat faster and they felt hot to the face. The priest started saying the usual stuff. Later on it got to the vows

Priest: "would the groom please go first" Jay took out the piece of paper he had prepared a while ago

Jay: "I know we didn't always have the best relationship, but I want you to know that I care for you" the girls eyes looked at him hopefully "I truly do care for you, even if I don't show it often I always wonder what you're doing, do you need help, are you fine all those stuff. I know that sometimes I'm a jerk or actually all the time" he chuckled "but I want to thank you for always putting up with me. Thank you for being by my side. Thank you for caring for me even if I can be a total jackass" y/n started tearing up realizing he knew all the efforts she put in "I'm sorry for everything I have done that caused me to hurt you but I just want you to know that I love you" y/n's breathe hitched "I love you and you only, you're the only girl I would look at and I would never replace you with anyone else. You're the most beautiful amazing smart funniest girl in the world and I must be the luckiest man to be able to have you. I love you y/n" She carefully wiped her tears trying not to remove her makeup.

Enhypen quietly cheered for Jay giving claps and woohoos. The adults found it disrespectful but Jay and y/n found it hilarious.

Priest: "and now the bride please"

Y/N: "wow I uhh I just wanna say that that was really sweet. Anyway I wanna thank you for accepting me for who I am also and I wanted to say that I'll always forgive you" Jay slightly widened his eyes at her statement. Is she just saying this for our vows or does she really mean it? "I'll stick by your side even if we fight. Knowing my personality I might need some space for a while but I'll always come back to you" I think she really means it "I'll always believe you because I love you, I love you and you only. You make me happy and you took care of me when I wasn't feeling well. I can't wait to spend my life with you, I can't wait to cook our favorite meals together and I can't wait to have our flour fights when we try baking" the audience chuckled and Jay smiled brightly. He wanted to hug her in his arms. He wanted to hold her like his life depended on it "for my final words I want to promise you that I'll love you forever, I didn't expect I would but I love you. I promise to stick by your side and always come back to you" they both smiled brightly each other. The boy was extremely happy she forgave him. The priest said some other things and it was finally ending

Priest: "by the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" Jay pulled y/n by her waist making y/n's eyes widen. They smiled at each other and Jay leaned in to kiss her. They smiled through the kiss and Jay tightened his grip on her waist. They pulled apart and connected their foreheads laughing and smiling widely at each other. The crowd cheered for them and they waved at everyone.

<after the ceremony and reception; home>

Jay: "finally we can talk" he plopped on the couch as y/n sat beside him

Y/N: "I can't believe we're married!"

Jay: "of course we are wifey" the girl scrunched her face showing she was cringed but inside she was freaking out "so you really do forgive me?"

Y/N: "Jay" she held out her hand and cupped his cheek "I heard the recording, I believe you" he smiled brightly "but when I stayed with Mina I actually started believing you after like 2 days, I guess my temper just got the best of me" Jay sighed and leaned in for a quick kiss

Jay: "I honestly don't care what happened, I'm just happy that you're finally mine" he hugged the girl as she leaned on his chest. She inhaled his scent as he rested his chin on her head

Jay&Y/N: "I love you" they pulled apart and chuckled.

Jay: "hey why don't we cook?"

Y/N: "what? But I'm so tired" she groaned dramatically

Jay: "fine, how about I make you your favorite soup?" Y/n eyes lit up with a big smile "I'll take that as a yes" he chuckled and made his way to the kitchen

While he was cooking y/n sat down on the counter and watched as her husband cooked for her

Jay: "what are you doing?" He laughed

Y/N: "just watching my amazing husband cook" she dangled her legs and continued watching him

Jay: "try this" he turned around to face her with a wooden spoon. He fed her some of the soup and her eyes sparked

Y/N: "amazing as always" they gave each other a kiss and Jay served the soup into two bowls

They ate and talked together enjoying each other's presence.

Jay: "by the way my dad told me I had to start helping out in the company from time to time since I'm gonna take over next year"

Y/N: "don't worry I'll cook for you every single day, I'll cook your favorite meals and we can play your favorite games or movies when you get home"

Jay: "thanks babe" she blushed at the nickname "but a simple cuddle will be perfect"

Y/N: "how about we finish this up and cuddle"

They washed their dishes got ready for bed and cuddled to sleep.
