---Jungkook's POV---
Jungkook woke up with blurry vision, he rubbed his eyes and sat up. It took awhile before he got to the point of standing where he had to use the surrounding furniture to help himself. He made it to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water.
"Break up with Taehyung?" He took a long swig of the water and closed his eyes. "Please tell me this isn't real. I just started a story with him. . ." He grabbed Taehyung's phone off the floor and walked into the gaming room. He sat down and unlocked Taehyung's phone.
"Are Taehyung's parents' homophobes?!" Jungkook started feeling his anger boil up. "I am not breaking up with Taehyung." He grabbed the gaming controller about to play out all his rage, but he couldn't relax, "I love him. If his parents tell him who to be with, I am not fucking with their games!"
Jungkook couldn't take it, "FUCK!" He threw the controller at the TV severely breaking it. "Agh- Fuck. . ." He didn't bother cleaning up the mess since he was interrupted by another phone call. It was Tae's parents again. He didn't even want to answer it. He felt heat boiling in his neck.
He clicked answer and was about to burst when:
T: "Baby. . ." It was Taehyung.
JK: "Tae. . ." Jungkook sighed heavily in relief.
T: "I want you to listen to me okay." Jungkook's knew something was off by Taehyung's voice. It hurt hearing him talk like this.
JK: "I'm listening Taehyung. . ."
T: "We can't do this anymore. . ."
Something was definitely off. If Tae was to break up with him, it would never be on the phone. But he said nothing back, instead Jungkook hung up and broke down in tears, pleading it not to be true.
He grabbed his jacket and started running to Taehyung's house in the pouring wet rain.
---Taehyung's POV---
It hurt Taehyung so bad when he opened the door to his awaiting parents. They were standing in front of him staring deathly as soon as he opened that door. He didn't even look in their eyes, just their feet.
His father came over and pulled his arm into the kitchen leaving Tae with his mother then walked outside. "Guess who just called us back." She said angrily. "Jungkook?" That was Tae's only guess. "Yes, honey but, we took care of him." Taehyung balled his fists. "What the fuck is wrong with you guys. What did-"
"-The hell is this?!" Taehyung's dad walked back in the kitchen with familiar looking bags. "Shit. . ." Taehyung forgot to bring them in last night. "Listen. That was Jimin's he left that in my car. We had to drop him off last night, but he forgot them." Taehyung knew Jimin owed them from last night, so he took that as his excuse.
"What!? Jimin's even into this stuff!?" Taehyung's mother yelled furiously. Taehyung still had his fists tight. "Can you guys just accept the person I am?! At least Grandma would!"
Taehyung shouted trying to hold back his anger. "Don't even bring her into this. Jungkook is your best friend! Why do you even like him that way! We did not raise you to be like this!" Taehyung stayed quiet, trying his very best to control the raging fire ready to get out of his chest.
"Come over here right now, you're going to be breaking up with him here in front of us." Taehyung's mother tapped a spot on the table sliding her phone to him. "No." Taehyung turned around and began walking about to leave. He was stopped as his dad stood in his way. "Do what your mother says!" His Father held his hand up high threatening to slap him. Taehyung backed back into the kitchen and grabbed the mother's phone. He called his own number since he knew he forgot it with Jungkook. It took a few rings until Jungkook finally answered.
T: "Baby. . ." Taehyung bit his lip now trying to hold back his tears.
JK: "Tae. . ."
T: "I want you to listen to me okay." Taehyung tried to make it sound unmeaningful, but he could hear the hurt in Jungkook's voice.
JK: "I'm listening Taehyung. . ."
T: "We can't do this anymore. . ." Taehyung, even though he wasn't making it true still had trouble spitting out the words. But he did it so his parents would just leave them both alone.
Jungkook hung up.
Taehyung threw the phone and slammed his hand both on the table and stood up abruptly. "If you guys can't accept him to be with me, then I am not your son." His father stood back in the doorway again that lead outside holding up Taehyung's key's. "You're not going home son."
Taehyung pushed through him this time, not afraid of any consequences. He gave the finger, "Fuck you both." Taehyung pulled over his hood and ran into the foggy rain. "Taehyung, get back here!" Taehyung ignored the calls of his father and just continued running as fast as possible.
---End of separate POV's---
It was pouring and cold. Both boys were running to each other's way. They did not expect to see each other though. It was a 6-mile run. They both grew tired fast but kept running their way.
Taehyung had no phone, no running shoes, no umbrella, and no car. All he had on was a raincoat and his under clothing. He was just running as hard as he could to make it back home to Jungkook. The rain and wind became too strong. It was on the sidewalks when Taehyung slipped and fell to the ground. He scraped both knees hard on the cement.
"Agh!!!" Taehyung grabbed his knees and brought them up to his chin wrapping his arms around his legs. He cradled himself in the rain and broke down in tears, however, you wouldn't be able to tell because they blended with the rain. He was soaked from head to toe. His hair was so wet that it completely covered his eyes.
It was getting colder to the point that Taehyung started shivering while sitting and watching the silent roads. "I-I- Can't- give up-" Taehyung got up trying to ignore his knees but the cuts stung badly as the water hit and melted into them. As he limped in pain, he noticed something in the distance. Someone was running in the fog.
Taehyung started taking larger and quicker steps as he realized it was Jungkook. Jungkook was running as fast as possible, "Taehyung?!" Jungkook was amazed what he was seeing. "Taehyung is that you?!"
"Yes, Jungkook It's me baby!!!" Taehyung bolted to Jungkook now at full speed completely forgetting about his knees. They finally met when Jungkook lifted Taehyung up in the soaking wet rain and they started hugging each other viciously. "Fuck!!! Are you okay, Tae?! What are you doing?!" Jungkook put Taehyung down, they huddled close to each other to stay warm.
"I should be asking the same. We won't talk about that now though, let's get back to the house and we will explain everything, okay?"
Jungkook nodded, they took each other's hands and walked through the foggy rain together."
