She laid on her bed listening to a play list that consisted of acoustic covers from all of her favorite bands. Adams song by Blink 182 was currently playing and her mind kept wandering to the boy that caught her from busting her on her arse at the school. She couldn't shake the feelings that grew whenever she thought of his eyes taking in her every aspect. She pushed herself off the bed and walked towards her closet. Opening the door she looked at the reflection that was in front of her. The mirror was hanging on the back of her door so she could "see her outfit better" her grandmother had told her. She ran her finger through her shoulder length black hair. She didnt consider herself ugly, but she also didnt consider herself beautiful. She was ordinary. Her eyes began to scan all the new clothing that her grandma had just bought her a few days ago. Trailing her fingers along the cloth, she stopped at the floral dress that her grandmother had insisted on getting. She pulled it off the hanger and striped out of her Blink 182 shirt and skinny jeans. Slipping the dress on she felt different. She felt.. pretty. Like a girl. Technically she felt like a girl every day, but she just felt like she was girly for once. She didnt mind the feeling.. She actually kind of liked it. She spun in circles watching as the loose fabric danced with her, maybe she would wear the dress to school tomorrow.. Typing on her laptop, she switched the music that was playing. Lips are movin by Meghan Trainor rang through the speakers. Normally, she wouldnt listen to this kind of music. She hated the way that pop songs repeated themselves over and over again. But she was different. And maybe different was good.
