Part 6: reunuion

Authors POV

" (Y/N)?!?!?" Peter said surprised to see her.

" yeah um I'm just on my way out bye" she said getting ready to leave but he stopped her.

" What? Why are you here?"

" May asked me to get some clothes for her now I have to go" she said trying to leave because she didn't want to talk to him.

" wait you were with May? Why?"

" uhh I was volunteering at the hospital. Now I really have to leave Peter" she said trying to get away from him.

" oh uh yeah o-ok b-bye"

" yeah bye" and she was gone.

(Y/N) POV

So yeah that just happened. Of course I wasn't happy about it. Yeah he looked fit and handsome but he is still a huge jerk for what he did and a bully. I was so mad that he actually wanted to talk to me. Ugggh I hate him so much I just didn't want to show it. I was planning on going to Delimars but I was to tired so I'm just going to go tomorrow. I walked to my house which isn't that from from Peters apartment. When I got there my dad was there. Let's get to know my dad shall we. He is a drunk bastard who is out of control. After my mom passed away last year my dad went to the bar every night. My dad was passed out in the couch. Even though he was drunk and didn't care much about me I cared for him. I promised my mom I would take care of him no matter his condition. My apartment wasn't so big but it is something. I cleaned up his mess which was a couple beer bottles and peanuts on our living room table. After I finished I got a blanket to cover him. Then I turned of the light and went to my room. Since it was my first day back I didn't expect to have homework but I guess I was wrong. I started to work on my chemistry homework. I always thought chemistry or science in general was cool. I finished my homework and I looked at the clock it was 10:00pm. I wasn't tired so I walked out to the fire escape to look out at the city.

" wow" I said looking out. I never noticed that it was such a breath taking view.

" I know right " said a voice beside me. I jumped a little to see my neighbor looking out too.

" hey mr. Cruz." Mr. Cruz was a sweet old man who lived next to me. He use to come over once in a while because my mom use to invite him over.

" hello how have you been? How is your father?"

" oh I'm good. He isn't doing that well but he is trying"

" Well if you need anything I'm here for you"

" thanks 😊 "

" Now you should head off to bed because I'm sure you have school tomorrow"
I laughed a little.

" ok goodnight Mr. Cruz" he waved and we both went back inside. I changed into my PJ's and went to bed.

Authors POV

It was the next day and both Peter and ( Y/N) we're getting ready for school.

Peter was kind of out of it today because he seemed more focused on what he had become even though it took him like a year to figure it out. He new he had to change but if he did he wouldn't be popular and change back into a loser only this time he wouldn't have any friends.

(Y/N) left a little earlier than before because she didn't want to talk to her dad that morning . She decided to go to the hospital before school started so she didn't have to carry the back all day. Once she got the hospital she signed in as a visitor and went to May's room.
