Part 10: Soccer tryouts

(y/n) POV

Ok it's almost time for my soccer try outs. I can't wait. I'm sure I'll make the team. Well I hope I do because this will be good on my college application. Also I wanna do something fun for once. I felt bad for Peter because Liz was such a horrible person to him. Yes I know I'm defending him but I'm right though. I'm still not his friend nor I will ever be his friend after what he did. I just need to few some hostility towards him at these times. The weird thing is he didn't look that sad. He looked kind of relived. Weird. Any ways it's time for soccer try out yay.

I quickly changed in the lockers and went out to the field to warm up.

Peter's POV

Sooo I know I shouldn't be doing this but I have to talk to Ned. I have no friends since my break up with Liz but I hope Ned can forgive me or give me a chance. I saw Ned leave his class. We made eye contact. He quickly looked away

" Hey wait up please I need to talk to you" I shout he stooped and turned to me looking at his shows.

" What do you want" he muttered.

" Look I know I'm the person you would least want to talk to but I'm so sorry for everything I did. I honestly don't deserve you as a friend. You are great and I let popularity take over me and I'm so sorry I just wanna be friends again or a chance to be friends because I miss you and the girls. You guys were real unlike these other guys. Please just think about it?" I asked hoping he would

" Fine but you do know this is going to take a lot of work right?!" He said

" Yes and I'm willing to do anything to be friends with you again " I said nodding

" ok but your going to have to talk to the girls on your own I don't speak for them" he said

" Yes I will. Um do you think we can hang out in the bleacher like we use to even though we aren't friends?" I said

" Yeah actually ( Y/N) is going to try out for the soccer team I was planning on seeing it." He said we both walked and talked going to the field

When we got there I saw her. Wow breath taking. Smart, pretty, funny, kind, brave and she is athletic wow. (Y/N) . I REALLY got to up my game if u can get their trust back. Both Ned and I sit on the bench's.

" Sooooo are you ok with this whole Liz break up thing!" Ned asks

" Um yeah actually. How do you know?"

" It's all the school is talking about. Remember popularity " Ned said which is true.

" Oh yeah I guess she wasn't the right one. I honestly stopped liking her a while ago she never treated me like a boyfriend unless she got jealous or she made other guys jealous" I said staring out in the field looking at ( Y/N).

" No way you like (Y/N)!" Screamed Ned .

" shut up dude she is going to hear you!!!" I said freaking out looking at her but she was to occupied kicking the ball.

" huh I always knew you liked her" Ned said. Which was true I started liking her since she slept over at my house for the first time which was YEARS ago. I guess I never though she would like me back. But I think I have a chance. A big risk but I'm willing to do it for her. No I won't make her jealous or angry because that stuff never works.

" yeah I've liked her since she slept over the first time remember ?" I asked

" yeah you looked at her in her sleep which was kinda creepy but adorable at the same time" he said ( so I'm a girl I'm not sure what guys say about women and stuff when they like each other just bear with me) I just hope she forgive me.

I was just amazed on how talented she was. When she went on her water break she saw us. She kind of froze because I was there for sure. She waved but I'm pretty sure that was for Ned. She got her water and came to us.

" Hey what are you doing here?" She asked us.

" we are here for support plus your a great player " says Ned

" Oh cool thanks I guess . Um see you guys later I guess" she said but she kind of glared at me.

" Dude she isn't going to be that easy to get your trust back you k ow that right?" Ned asked

" Yeah but she is worth it" I said sighing.

(Y/N) POV

I did many drills that the coach made us do and I'm pretty sure I nailed it. All the people trying out are pretty nice. Competitive yes but they are nice. Finally the game. While I get a jersey to wear for the for the game I hear Ned scream.

" Woah let's go (Y/N) let's go " he screamed. Peter just smiled and gave me a encouraging look. Wow those eyes are so dreamy Wait no no no no he is the enemy here. I looked away and got in the field. I scored a couple of goals and I got cheers from Ned and Peter. I'm happy Ned is happy again. I guess he forgave Peter. But it isn't going to be that easy with me.

The coach told us that he will see us next week and they will tell us if we got in or not. I walked up to my stuff and I see Ned and Peter coming down the bleachers.

" Hey you did great" said Ned

" yeah you did great ha" said Peter shyly

" Um thanks I have to go though. Bye" I said hurrying out of of school. Wow that was bad. I hope it doesn't get worse than this cause I honestly don't wanna see Peter. He hurt me and I'm not going to forgive him just because he is being " nice ".
