Part 8: Spider talk

Y/n POV

Well that was weird. I literally talked to Spider-Man for like a hour. For some reason he was really easy to talk to. He felt very familiar even though I have no idea who he is.

The next day I went to school and it was boring as always except my science class. That class was amazing. Anyways I remembered I had soccer try outs the next day so I brought my stuff with me to play soccer after school. I first had to go with May to see how she was doing and hopefully she isn't stressed out about this whole cancer thing. On my way to the hospital I stopped by a farmer shop to get her some flowers. I would have gone to Delimars but it got destroyed I hope it get built back soon.

When I got to the hospital I signed in and went straight to May's room.

" Hey May how are you ?" I said entering her room.

" I'm great thank you how are you" she asked

" I good I bought you these flowers hopefully you get better soon" I said. She thanked me and we talked for a while. Suddenly she asked me something.

" can you sing to me like you use to?" I was shocked to hear this I honestly haven't sang in a while but May is going through a lot so I agreed. I started singing her favorite song. I took a deep breath and sang.

After I sang I was a little out of breath but I did it. It felt kind of good. I looked at May and she was smiling but not at me but at someone else. Someone at the door. I turned and I saw him. Oh sh-

" Hey you sounded great ha" Peter said. Honestly I had no idea he was here. Oh how I wish I locked the door when I came in.

" um thanks, Well I'll leave you two to chat I have to go" I said getting up from th chair and saying my goodbyes.

" Wait don't go , Peter would mind you staying"

" um I have to practice from my soccer try outs sorry maybe another day. I bye feel better May" I gave her a hug and walked up to Peter her said a soft goodbye and I just nodded and left.

Wow that was awkward. I actually ran to the park after I left the hospital for a warm up.

Peter's POV

Wow that was amazing. Who knew she can still sing like that. Oh gosh I crushing really hard for her. The thing that hurt me the most was the part where she looked disappointed when she saw me. Gosh I new I had to fix things between us but I just know a simple sorry wouldn't work. Today I decided to visit aunt May even though I rarely visit which make me a jerk. We talked for about 10 mins but then I had to leave to patrol. I promised I'd come every week about 2 times a weeks to visit her. While I was on patrol I saw ( Y/N) playing soccer. Wow who new she was that good. She never really talked about sports before but maybe she changed over this past year. I went to land behind a tree and to see her play. Wheb I landed she heard me .

" hello is anyone there?!" She said reaching into her backpack

" Come out or you will face the consequences?!" She said taking out a taser and turning it on. Damn she is badass.

I came out to the open where she can see me.

" Hey it's just me relax" I said as spider man though.

" oh dude you you scared me. What are you doing here spying on me?!?" She said with a little bit of anger.

" No I uh just wanted to see if you were ok because you were uh alone in the uh park and I uh wanted to see if your were uh ok?" I stuttered gosh why do I have to be so awkward.

" yeah I'm fine thanks. Um you sound really familiar do I know you ?" Damn it she knows I have to do something.

" uh no no I'm just Spider-Man"

" oh ok well ur sorry you just sounded really familiar . Like a friend of mine. Well he was my friend now he is just some stranger. Um yeah sorry".
That hurt pretty bad. Uhh I have to do something

" um if your not busy I can take you back home . I honestly have nothing to do".
She nodded and started to pack her stuff.

I asked if I could swing her home but she denied every time. I guess she isn't a fan of heights. We walked the way to her house. We pretty much talked about her life.

" So you have any close friends?" I ask

" Yeah their names are MJ and Ned. There use to be 4 of us but he left us for a girl and popularity" uh I regret asking that question. I just feel guilty.

" Well maybe he changed you never no "

" um he did change but for the worst. He use to be this nice and innocent guy which I enjoyed being around him but once he went to the popular side he became a huge jerk. He bullies people now and ignores us all the time. " she is right. I thought popularity would get me somewhere and I was wrong. The thing is about nice I got to know the real Liz I honestly stopped having feelings for her. I have just been with her this long because I have no other friends. I know that's messed up but they do worse stuff.

" Anyways is what about you. You have any friends in you other life" she asked

" yeah I do but they aren't the best. They are jerks and uh I honestly don't know why I still talk to them"

" Well if you like I can be your new friend. I'll try not to be a jerk but no promises" I chuckle in her response.

" yeah I would really like that".

We got to her apartment

" Well thanks for the walk and talk session. Is this like our thing now?" She asks

" I sure want it to be. I'll try to come to your apartment as much as possible talk.

She nods

" Bye have a nice night spidy "

I wave and swing to off. At least I'm her friend and I get to talk to her through Spider-Man
