Chapter 12: Detention

Narrators POV

Brad, (Y/N), and Peter were all currently in the principles office waiting to get punished.

Peter was currently looking at (y/n) trying to thank her but he couldn't get words out of his mouth. When he finally gave up he just looked down and slouched in his seat.

(Y/N)  was playing with her hair. She does that when she is nervous and at this point she is terrified. She never got in trouble like this before. But she did it for a good cause. She didn't protect Peter because she forgives him, she protected him because he doesn't deserve that. Yes he has been a jerk for the past year but he has gone through a lot and she hates Brad. Jerk.

Brad he was pretty much playing it cool. Holding his stomach cause it hurts when they punched him. He didn't really care if he got I trouble or not.

Suddenly the door swung open.

" Well hello there. I hope you will think twice about your actions today because what you did was unacceptable. Now tell me what caused this fight!?"

"Brad pinned Pete-"

" she punched me"

He pinned me"

All three talked at the same time.

" Stop now (Y/N) since I trust you more I want you to tell me what happens"

" Well Brad pinned Peter to his locker for some reason and he was pretty much hurting. I couldn't just let him do that to him so I stepped up and this guy" pointed at Brad " didn't stop so I punched him so he could let go of Parker then he started fighting back obviously I fought back for self defense. Then Peter tried to get Brad off me and now we are here" she finished talking and the principle didn't look amused.

" Okay if this is true is there something you would like to say Brad"

" Yeah (Y/N) you fight like a pu- " he didn't get to finish when (Y/N) was already grabbing him from the collar and getting ready to punch him.

" (Y/N) put him down. As for you Brad, you have to apologize to Peter. (Y/N) apologize to Brad for hitting him."

" Woah woah woah I get why he has to apologize but why do I have to I didn't do anything g wrong but defend myself and Peter." (Y/n) said with anger.

" Now if you don't apologize you won't be able to leave school till 7 for 2weeks is that what you really want?" (Y/n) cursed under her breath and turned to Brad.

" I'm sorry for what I did" she said. He smirked.

" im sorry Peter for pinning you " he said to Peter. Peter just nodded and don't say anything.

" ok now that that's settled you you are free to go but I will see you all after school for detention" they all nodded and left. Brad just glared at them and left to his class. Peter and (Y/N) walked to their class together .

" Hey I just wanted to say thanks for the help and I'm sorry I got you into this mess. I know we aren't in good terms but I just really appreciate you" Peter said to her.

" yeah just because I helped you out doesn't mean I'm friends with but that doesn't mean I would t stand up to you" she said to him.

The day went but like that * snap * and (Y/N) were getting ready for detention.

(Y/N) , Peter, and Brad were on there way to detention. They all had different classes so they didn't go to detention together.

Peter was really not happy about this because he had Spider-Man duties to attend too but at-least he gets to spend time with (Y/N). He didn't know what he was going to do but he was going to make them talk , well at least something they both are interested in.

Peter was the first one there. He went in the far back to a middle seat so he can sit next to her because he remembers she likes to sit in the back. The next person to come in was (Y/N) she honestly didn't care where she sat so just wait next to Peter.

Unlike her Peter was beaming because he was next to her. Finally Brad was here. The "popular " guy in their school.

" Welcome to detention kids. You are going to think about what you did wrong in the hour. You either do school work or read a book. No phones allowed. Understood" the teacher asked. All three nodded their heads and started to work on school work.

Peter either did his work or stared at (Y/N). His crush on her was getting stronger by the minute.

(Y/n) didn't have hw. She pretty much just drew on her note book even though she isn't the best artist.

Brad was just being Brad. Pretending to read a book even though he was using his phone.

10mins have passed and (Y/N) got super bored of this. Peter noticed this and he took this opportunity to send her a note.

Hi I'm bored you bored?

He crumbled the paper and threw it to her. She looked at him then the paper. She opened it and started to write back in the paper.

Yeah I wanna leave

She threw back the paper to him. He read the paper and smiled and looked at her. She looked at him and smiled . She blushed a little but looked a away. Peter also blushes a little.

" Aww are you guys blushing because you wove each other " Brad interrupted their moment . (Y/N) couldn't stand it anymore she stood up grabbed Brad by the collar and punched him in the face.

" (Y/N) calm down and let him go!" The teacher said.

(Y/N) let him go and left the classroom. Peter ran behind her.

" Hey (Y/N) wait up! Are you ok?" He said running to her.

" yeah I just need some fresh air" she said sitting down next to a locker.

" You do know he is just joking right he is just a bully. Don't let him get to you". Peter said.

" look I know you just got out of his friend group but they have been making fun of us for years now. I am so tired of that ok. You just got out of popularity so you don't remember how it feels like. I'm tired of us getting in trouble for something they do. I just can't do this anymore " Peter just looked at her. He didn't know she was hurting this much.

" I have to go Peter see you around. I don't think you would understand how it feels like." she didn't want him to see her like this. She was still not happy with him and her talking.

Peter called after her but just kept running away.

Peter messed up real bad but he didn't know what to do. He was on his way to his apartment and he was getting ready to be Spider-Man. He knew that she didn't a friend so it had to be him. Spiderman.
