Akashi-kun and I are like two separate souls but when we meet, it's like we have a connection. We never tell each other how we feel but we kept on talking a lot through phone calls and text messages. He would always say good morning to me every morning before I woke up. It always makes me happy. Akashi-kun and I are opposites though, he's the popular redhead while I'm the shy bluenette who acts like a tree or a wallflower. People say that opposites attract, I hope it's true if we are to date or become a couple.
Akashi-kun came to my house to hang out and have dinner with us as a family. My parents and my grandma were very pleased to have him over dinner. Even Niguo-kun was so happy to see him. Akashi-kun pointed out that my dog has the same beautiful eyes as me and I blushed. At the dinner table, Akashi-kun started to get to know more about my family while my family gets to know more about him. I enjoy their conversation.
Mom: I'm so glad you accompanied my son to school.
My mother smiled while she eats her dinner. Then she explains how I was so shy and lonely before.
Mom: My son used to be so shy and lonely after his childhood friend moved away but then when he came into this school, it changed his life. Thank you for making my son happy.
Akashi: It was no problem. Kuroko is a very interesting person to be friends with.
Akashi smiled at me and I smiled back and I blushed a bit.
Kuroko: Yeah definitely.
Akashi: I'm glad I changed his life when I recruit him to the basketball team, the team members seem to adore him.
Kuroko: Yeah they do. I'm glad too.
Mom: Thank you so much for helping my son build friendships with multiple people.
Akashi: It was my pleasure, I always want to see him happy.
Akashi looked at me and smiled at me while his hand touched my hand. I was shocked and blushed at him when he started holding my hand underneath the table and I hold his hand back. I think Akashi-kun likes me too. As the conversation goes on, my grandma brings in the vanilla cake dessert that she made.
Grandma: I made Vanilla cake! Eat up, guys!
She smiled as she puts the vanilla cake on the table. We cut each other a slice, and I get the small slice because I can only eat a little. I take a bite of the vanilla cake and Akashi-kun takes a bite of his as well. My parents and grandma started eating theirs as well. We were impressed with the vanilla cake, especially Akashi-kun.
Me: This tastes good grandma.
Akashi: Kuroko you got a little stain.
Akashi-kun chuckles as he uses his little napkin to wipe my stain off my cheek and I blushed at him.
Me: Thanks Akashi-kun.
We kept eating our dessert as we kept talking about school, work, and some other random topics. Having Akashi-kun over for dinner makes me even happier. I'm glad my family is welcome to have him over any time.
After a few minutes, we were in my bedroom and Akashi-kun looked around.
Akashi: So this is your room. It's so small and clean.
Akashi-kun smiled while he looked around and I nodded. I always like to keep my room clean and organized. Then Akashi-kun started looking at the bookshelves where I keep all the books that I read, even textbooks that my parents bought at the time I was homeschooled.
Akashi: You have lots of great books! I read this one!
Akashi-kun pointed out the Romeo and Juliet book. I'm surprised he read it too. I thought I was the only guy who read this book because I always think this book is for females.
Me: It's one of my favorites and I thought I was the only one.
Akashi: Ah no, I love reading Shakespear's stories.
I nodded as we both sat down on the bed and we looked at each other. I think now is the right time to tell Akashi-kun how I feel.
Me: Um Akashi-kun, I-I um... I wanted to tell you that I--
I paused for a bit because I'm getting nervous but Akashi held my hand and looked at me straight in the eye.
Akashi: You don't have to tell me because... I know you felt this way because I felt this way too. I like you too, Tetsuya.
I was shocked that he knew and he told me how I feel. He went closer to my face and I started blushing. This is the first time this ever happened to me. Then he kissed my lips and I kissed him back. We told each other how we feel, then we became a couple. I stopped kissing him for a bit and looked at him
Me: But Mibuchi-kun... will he ever get mad? I know he's been clinging to you and you guys work together...
Akashi: No I don't like him like that, I never liked him. And he never liked me like that either. He just thinks of me as his little brother because I'm short and he's tall. But fangirls in our school think we're a couple but we're not. Also, he has a crush on Mayuzumi, the white hair guy that never talks a lot and he can be a tsundere. He's also part of the student council as well.
Akashi-kun chuckles. I nodded and smiled. I'm glad Mibuchi-kun and Akashi-kun are not dating. My dream came true and I have a lover, a popular red-headed, and rich guy who likes me.
Me: I hope your father accepts us as a couple... I know you told me he was strict when it comes to your grades and school work.
Akashi: I'll protect you Tetsuya and I will tell him to respect you. He knows I've been doing great in school.
I nodded and smiled.
Me: Thanks Akashi-kun.
Akashi: Call me Seijuro, Tetsuya.
Me: Okay Seijuro-kun.
We hold each other's hands and we started opening the Romeo and Juliet book. We read together while we looked at each other and blushed. Seijuro-kun is my Romeo and I was his Juliet. Then we picked another book which is Pride and Prejudice, which is also Seijuro-kun's favorite book and we read it together. After that, we cuddle each other on my bed and we kissed each other. We became a couple and I wonder how others in school will react to us holding hands.
