My Life Changed Because Of You

Chapter 10

It was almost past noontime, almost nighttime. I was inside Seijuro-kun's bedroom and I looked around. His room looks like a typical parents' master bedroom because he has a big queen size bed, a big drawer with all of his hair products, and colognes. He has so many pictures attached to his wall, he has a candle on his side table. Also, he has a desk with a light. My lover is that lucky to have nice things. He has a huge library with lots of books next to his room. 

Me: You're a really lucky guy to have nice things, Seijuro-kun. 

Akashi: Yeah, my father bought all of these things just to make me look good and be proficient. 

I nodded and smiled. I sat on his bed next to him and hold his hand. I wonder what his father is going to say about our relationship.

Me: So what time will your father come here?

Akashi: He should be in a few minutes. 

Me: Okay. 

I nodded and I looked down. I'm still nervous and I'm afraid to mess up when I talk about my life to his father. 

Akashi: It's okay Tetsuya... 

Seijuro-kun held my hand and I held his hand back, then I blushed. I heard the door open from downstairs and it must be his father. 

Me: Is that your father coming?

Akashi: Yes that's my father coming in. Let's wait for him to go to his home office and we will go downstairs to meet him.

Me: Okay.

I nodded while I got up and fix myself a little. Seijuro-kun also got up and he held my hand and I held his hand back. It was time for me to face his father.

Akashi: Let's go my love.

I nodded as we walked downstairs together to go to his father's office room. Seijuro-kun knocked on the door and I waited beside him.

Akashi's dad: come in. 

I heard his dad from the room. Seijuro-kun slowly opened the door and we walked to his father slowly while we held each other's hand. His father was at his desk working on his paperwork.

Akashi's dad: Hello my son.

Akashi: Hello father.

Seijuro-kun bowed to his father while I was still holding onto him. His father has a serious look on his face when he looked at him. He then looked at me and I gulped.

Akashi's dad: Who is this bluenette boy? A friend of yours...?

He asked while he kept looking at me. I was so scared and his father looks like he was not interested in me. 

Akashi: Well actually... he's my... lover.

Me: I'm Kuroko Tetsuya.

I bowed to his father. Seijuro-kun answered him right away and his father looked at us with a shocked look at his face. I knew this isn't going well. 

Akashi's dad: LOVER?! 

Akashi: Yes dad... I'm gay...

We held each other's hands. Akashi's dad got up and walked to us. It looks like he was about to hit us but... He hugged both of us! I was shocked, I didn't expect him to hug us so dearly. 

Akashi: Dad? 

Akashi's dad: Congrats to both of you... And son, I know I haven't spent much time with you... I'm sorry for the past years I've been so hard on you. I'm so sorry that I've been busy too... but you deserve to be happy too... I spoke with your uncle, that is your mother's brother and he explained to me that I should give you love and understand you more...

Akashi: Thank you father for accepting us...

Akashi's father smiled at him and he also smiled at me and rubbed my head gently. I smiled back with relief.

Akashi's dad: Thank you for making my son happy, you be his lucky wife in the future.

Me: Thanks, sir. 

Akashi's dad chuckled. I blushed and held my lover's hand when he said that. I'm really glad his father accepted us as a couple. I thought his father will hate me because I'm not rich like Seijuro-kun but turns out he's supportive of our relationship. I'm shocked at first but I feel relieved and happy. Akashi's dad finally supports our relationship no matter what.

The next day, it was a Saturday night. Seijuro-kun and I were on a dinner date at the luxury restaurant in Kyoto. I have never been to places like this in Kyoto before, they look so nice and clean. I was wearing my light blue suit that matches my hair color while my lover was wearing his red suit that matches his hair color. It was a romantic night.

The waiter gave us our meal. We ordered a shared meal together because Seijuro-kun understands that I can only eat a little and we both agree to take some of the food to our homes. Seijuro-kun fed me a small portion and I blushed as I ate. 

Akashi: You got a little stain on your cheek.

Me: Eh?

Seijuro-kun chuckled as he uses his napkin, wiped it off my cheek, and I blushed. We both enjoyed our meal and our nice date. This is the first time Seijuro-kun takes me out somewhere fancy like this and he will pay for the date because the restaurant is expensive and he's rich. 

Akashi: Oh when we're done eating, do you want to look at the view of the restaurant outside? I heard there's gonna be fireworks.

Me: I would love to, Seijuro-kun. 

I nodded and smiled. I never thought Seijuro-kun would take me somewhere nice like this. First, he takes me out on a dinner date and now he will take me outside. Those are the most romantic things he's ever done.

We both finished our meals, the waiter came in with the check and extra boxes to put our meal in. We packed up our meal, Seijuro-kun paid the bill with his cash, and we both held hands.

Akashi: Let's go my love. 

We both headed outside of the restaurant. We walked to the bridge where there's a lake underneath. We stared at the night sky and the view of the lake. The moon shines so brightly and I hear the fireworks coming. The fireworks appear in the sky, we looked at each other, we held hands with each other like a normal couple, and we kissed. 

Me: Thank you Seijuro-kun for taking me somewhere nice like this. Ever since we met, my life changed because of you.

I smiled at him while I held his hand. Seijuro-kun smiled back at me and he kissed my lips.

Akashi: No you are the one who changed my life. I'm happy because of you. I love you Tetsuya. 

Me: I love you too Seijuro-kun. 

We both kissed again and then we stared at the fireworks. Seijuro-kun put his arm around my shoulder and I put my arm around his waist while enjoying the night. This was the best day of my life.
