Collins ran out on seeing her
"Sister Onome"! He exclaimed! He was so grown. She could barely believe this was her kid brother of yesterday. His joy meant everything to her, the ceremony was beautiful! She smiled as they fed themselves cakes and chocolates. They toasted with her favorite fruit wine. As she gulped down her drink, she felt his cold hands on her face and heard the odd voice.

"Sister Onome, Mummy is calling you!"

Onome woke up from her sleep and realized she had been dreaming again. Collins stood by her bedside, gazing at her as she stretched. She wondered what was running through that small head of his. It was a Sunday morning and they needed to go to church.

"Go and tell mummy that I am coming". She told him in a bid to get him to leave the room. Collins shook his head as he was determined to stay by her side.
"Mummy said you should come with me".

"Okay I am coming". Onome replied as She climbed down from the bed taking his hand.
Every morning, the same thing took place for the last few weeks, she would wake up after having a dream. A dream that tends to fulfill all her desires of marriage.

A dream where she gets married to her one true love. This dream usually begins and ends the same way. It was as if her imagination was playing tricks on her and her desires were creeping into her unconscious self as she slept each night. At a point, she knew it was a programmed desire projected into her sleep. Each ending usually climaxed when the master of ceremony (MC) would ask her to kiss the groom which usually would be no other person but Tega himself.

She would be so joyful, dancing and moving to the beats of the music. Her loved ones were always around her. This is
because it was how she would want that day to be in reality. A day where all her pain and tears turns to pure happiness.

She could not tell anyone about her dreams because they were nothing but a selfish desire. Tega did not want her and he had let her know that their soiled past would always affect him. Since she was discharged from the hospital, he barely visited and was moving on.  Staring at Collins as she walked with him to her mother, she smiled.

Church was always a place of peace for her. She no longer worried about the hypocrites as she had come to realize that they were every where not just in the church. She saw Tega every service day except when he was out of town. He would always inquire about her business and give ideas on what to do to make it better. They were great friends and she had come to value that friendship.

She worked hard at her catering   business with her mother and it was doing so well. Her youth service was also going well without stress as she had come to love talking to the children as she teaches home economics.

Alot of male teachers took interest in her. She even had a few marriage proposals from different suitors, Most of which were her customers who had engaged her catering services or visited the shop to buy her edible goods.

Her parents bothered about her not accepting anyone as she was getting older. "Heaven knows I am not interested in any of the suitors that has been coming" She was not even interested in what any of them had to say. She would not even give them a chance because she knows in her heart, they were not hers.

She usually visited the resort to see Tega. She had also rekindled her friendship with Queen who got married to the accountant.
Most times when she visited him, they would have interesting chats but many times, he was never around.

Whenever they met in Church he was always full of love and courtesy towards her family and herself but never anything intimate. Her younger sister Fejiro would always advise her to trust God and that was what she did. But it seems Tega was not interested, no matter what she did. Ever since she started having those dreams, she was simply praying for others and trusting She would end up with a good man eventually.
