"My babies names are Marz and Indigo. The most precious little babies you'll ever meet. Well they aren't babies anymore. They just turned 6 today." I pouted.

"Girl?! So why aren't you with them?!" She exclaimed.

I took a deep breath. "Here's where things get complicated. See at the time they were due, I wasn't talking to Luca or Milo. Those are their names by the way. They delivered the babies for me instead of taking me to the hospital. Then they flew them here across the world. Fled to Paris and let me bleed out."

"That's why I can't stand men. I hope those dead beat motha fuckas rot." She scoffed, turning on her back and folding her arms. "How'd you find them in Paris 6 years later?"

"It's...complicated."

I couldn't exactly tell her the niggas were witches and they left they spell book behind. I trusted her a little more but I wasn't gone let out Milo and Luca's secret. They trusted me and even though we weren't on good terms, I wasn't going to air their business out.

"But! I did find them and I tried to celebrate the twins birthday with them today. But Milo is very salty towards me and he doesn't want me around them. And now I'm stuck in Paris without a way home." I sighed. "That's why you saw me crying. Milo and I got into an argument. I fed my son peanuts not knowing he was allergic and he had a reaction. I know this situation is bizarre and unbelievable but-"

She caressed my cheek and kissed my lips very quickly. "It's not your fault. I believe you."

"You are a very sexual person." I laughed.

"I just felt like you needed a kiss." She shrugged. Laying on my lap, she looked up at me. "How were you supposed to know? Milo sounds like a brat."

She kind of reminded me of Luca. His mannerisms and her mannerisms matched so well minus all that crazy. Sage was such a free and happy spirit. I loved that for her.

"What about you miss Sage? What's your story?" I asked.

She took a deep breath, drawing circles with her finger on my inner thigh. "You really wanna know?"

"Yes. Why wouldn't I?" I shrugged.

"No one ever wants to know about me." She chuckled.

"Well I do."

"That's a first."

"You seem like such an interesting person. Who wouldn't want to get to know you?"

"Um did you not call me a stranger and say we only met once earlier?" She smirked.

I tilted my head to the side. "Look. I was...I was-"

"I'm playing with you. Relax." She chuckled. "But okay miss Jones. I suppose I will tell you then. Since you told me something about you. It's only fair." She sighed.

I sat back against her headboard, running my fingers through her hair. "I'm listening."

"Okay so I was like...what? 17?" She chuckled.

"Oh so we going far back?"

"I- I'm only 25. That's not that far. Don't make me feel old Anais."

"Anyways...continue." I laughed.

"Anyways...it was back when I was 17. I was still living in New York of course but I was living with my brother at the time. He's older than me by 6 years. So while my parents were being...annoying I would stay with him for months at a time." She started. "This one month in particular, my brother had a lil party and I was introduced to one of his friends. He was the baby of the group so that meant he was only 3 years older than me. When I tell you, we had an instant connection, that was an understatement. We shared the same humor, the same ideas, and with time we would start to hang out. And we were hanging out almost everyday. When we couldn't, we were on the phone. Calls would last for hours."
