The New Beginning

Chapter 9- I didn't see that one(Carson's point of view)

"So?How was your night after we left?"I asked standing by Jamie's locker.

"Great.We ate popcorn that you forgot...."She started to say.

"I was looking for that when I got home! By the way, I think I took home your pillow!" I interpreted.

"I was looking for that! It was midnight and they are the same size.But anyway, after you guys left Bryan and me ate popcorn and watched movies. Then, we sat up and talked for like 4 hours.It was nice. " She gushed.

"I'm glad. How long do you have him for?"I asked curiously.

"One more week. He spent last week with Macy,his wife, so he has one week left until he has to go back over seas."

"Well I say you have the best brother in the world for coming home just to surprise you!" I said trying to get the gum look off of her face. You see Bryan is her 23 year old brother. He has been in the army since he got out of high school. For the past 6 months, he has been stationed somewhere in Afghanistan. He is kind of Jamie's hero and he has a right to be. He has been out putting down his life for her to be free. They Skype every night, but it isn't the same. You see last night, after he showed up, we all sat and watched movies until about midnight when Bryan gave me a ride home. The other two girls had their parents come pick them up.

"But....Traycon showed up and told him my brother was home that we couldn't talk. Not that I wanted to.He saw the bag on the table and kept saying that I was lying. That I had some guy over while my parents were gone. That he never thought I would steep that low. Me? Me!It was my brother. He tried telling me that I didn't have a brother. That I was making it up! What a jerk! I told Bryan about it, too."

"What did he say?" I questioned fearing for Traycon's life. Bryan is what you would call very over protective. Especially of Jamie.

"First, he wanted to bust out his brains. Then, I told him no, he said that they would be having a talk. After thAT, I told him that he was not to hurt anyone and he finally agreed." She let out with a smirk. Oh boy! Poor Traycon.He has no clue. What's coming. "Oh and I have big news but you can't tell anyone not even Clair."

"What?" I asked curious of what could be so important.

"I am going to be an aunt!" SHe squealed quietly.

"How far a long is Macy?"

"7 months! And they are moving to Nester to be closer to our family since Macy has none! Isn't that exciting?" She whispered happily. "My parents don't know! That's why you can't tell anyone. I am just so excited!!!!!"

"I'm happy for you"I said looking at how excited she was that Bryan and Macy were going to have a baby. "Do you know wether it will be a boy or girl?"I asked.

"Girl, Jayden Nichole. I am so happy I think I might explode!"She smiled and then hugged me. I just smiled until I looked over to see Traycon glaring at us from down the hallway.

"I got to go to art, but I'll see you later"She said giving me another hug and skipping down the hallway avoiding his stare.

"It was you!" Traycan yelled coming over to my locker where I was now standing.

"You were the guy at her house last night! I never thought you would do that to a friend."

"I didn't and I can't believe how little resect you have for her? I was there until midnight with Piper and Clair after you were an idiot! Then her brother,Bryan, showed up. He watched movies with us. Then, Bryan gave me a ride home while Clair and Piper's parents picked them up." I yelled back.

"YOur lying along with her. She doesn't have a brother. I would know if she did."

"She has a brother. A brother who for the past 6 months has been in Afghanistan fighting. YOu haven't seen him much beause he gets deployed a lot. He is literally her hero, and you might want to show some respect. On his last deployment, they thought he was dead after his base got bombed in Afghanistan. He is a war hero and you are acting like he doesn't even exist. Ask anyone around her. They will tell you that they know Bryan."

"Oh, I didn't know okay. When we talked she didn't talk about him much."

"That's a load right there. I remember the day she found out he was alive. I was with you when she called and told you. Was she lying than?"

"I thought it was just a way for her to try to get my attention. okay? Stop yelling at me."He pleaded. I hadn't noticed that we had drawn an crowd and standing in it was Jamie. In full on tears. She turned around in tears and headed to the art room. I can't believe Traycon.

"Look what you did?" I said disappointed motioning to Jamie.

"Jamie wait. wait JAmie."He yelled running after her. When he finally caught up to her, he grabbed her arm and what he did next I couldn't belivie. He spun her around and kissed her. I mean full on kissed her. Like in the movies and I myself, didn't see that one.....
