I slugged down to the locker room with Traycan right beside."So you ready for the game?" He asked punching my shoulder.

"I was born ready"I said with a smirk. First game of the season, and I was starting. There was 4 freshman starters. Kind of wierd, but then again our good upperclassman graduated. I was greeted in the locker room by half dressed Dustin.

"I told Clair to be watching my mad skills."He said with a nod of the head. Sometimes, I swear these guys had only one focus girls.

"Dude, the girls always go for the Quarter back. Ladies love a leader if you know what I mean." Alex said wiggling his eyebrows back and forth.

"Okay, wildebeests lets focus on the game why don't we. Not all of us are interested in your sex lives."Traycan said getting his pads out.

"He's just uninterested because he finally has one.Jamie and him."Alex said coming up next to him. Traycan just rolled his eyes and began dressing for the game. Wait were they like? Nay no way.

"Yeah, Clair says they've been hanging out a lot here lately. I bet they do it all the time. Hard."Dustin chimed in a smirk on his face.

"No, were just friends."Traycan replied smug.

"So, shes one of those whole..."Alex started, before Traycan interrupted getting pissed.

"No, she's not and honestly why don't you guys just focus on the game!"His eyebrows furred.

"Woah, guys lets break it up." I said stepping in knowing that was his pressure spot.

After that, things got very quiet. You could hear the upperclassmen talk quietly, but out of us 4 it was like a pen could drop. As, we walked to the field I heard the screams. It seemed like the whole town was here tonight. Then again, that really wasn't saying much.

We ran on to the field and began our warm-up. I watched as Alex chucked out another perfect pass. Then, it landed perfectly in Dustin's hands and I watched him run it back in. Alex, then propelled another pass ,but this time to me. I caught it nicely and rushed it back in. This got repeated for every kid on the varsity team. I watched the other team do their warmup and picked out my compilation. I glanced over and Dustin was doing to same. I gave him a nervous look and he returned it. They were good. Like, really good. They were doing blocking drills and there biggest guy was beasting it up. Their coach had their quarterback on the side practicing avoiding the block. I smiled as he failed. I have seen Alex to do it wit ease multiple times, but everything with football came easy to Alex.

He was born with that talent. Without a doubt. He had a football in his hand since he was born. He was a freshman and he was already getting scouted from colleges. They started contacting him During the summer, after they had seen him play at the charity game. You see every year there is this game for a little kid named Duncan. He is four years old has leukemia. His parents can't afford his treatment so for the past 2 years there is a big charity game to help raise money to pay for the doctors bills among other things. Duncan is also Alex's little brother. So, of course, Alex plays. I looked over at the crowd. Front row of the bleachers, sure enough there was Duncan wearing his ''my brothers the Quarterback and he's single'' shirt. I laughed only Alex.

Couch blew his whistle. The whistle all summer I hated. It always meant running, but this time it was different. This time it was starting time. I got in the line with other guys as the band played the National Anthem. I smiled as The announcer yelled "Lets play some football!" I got on the starting line of scrimmage and waited for the whistle. For this moment I wanted to hear the whistle....

I looked at the clock. 20 seconds left and we were down by seven. That meant all we need was one touchdown. "Purple elephant" Alex yelled. I groaned and got in position as my body ached. I got ready to block so Alex could get through."Hike" he yelled. I blocked my man log enough for Alex to get through and watched him pass it down to Dustin who then ran it rather and pssed it down the field to Alex. WHo went in for the Touchdown. Everyone went wild with screams. But, as Alex had went in for the touchdown I heard more than the crowd. I heard a crunch and a deadly scream......
