"What was thAt?" Coach yelled.. "Whatever it was , it wasn't a catch for sure." One week before the first basketball game of the season and no one was thinking straight. "Hit the showers boys, because from where I'm standing you all need to clean up this team. I walked down to the locker room and could feel the tension. You could cut it with scissors it was so thick.
"Okay, what the hell is going on?" I screamed breaking the silence.
"Just stay out of it Carson. It's none of your business." Alex spat back giving a glare to Dustin.
" we'll I'm making it my business because whatever it is, is wrecking this team. It all seems to revolve around you two idiots." I screamed.
"Alex is good at wrecking things isn't he?" Dustin replied.
"Okay, is this still about this picture?" I questioned. " if so, leave it off my court. Got it?" I commanded grabbing my stuff and leaving the locker room, not waiting for an answer. They were severely pissing me off. It had been just 3 days ago, but it feels like n eternity listening to them bicker about it. Worst part is is Dustin still won't talk to Clair. Soon I heard footsteps running up be hind me.
"Thank you!" Traycan thanked. "You got them to shut up."
"I still can't believe she did it." I said directing my attention to the incident.
"Trust me I know. Jamie has been going nuts not knowing what to tell Clair." He agreed shaking his head.
" but it is the fact that she did it that gets me." I said in disbelief.
" I know, she had a boyfriend. Well, technically she still does." He answered.
"I know, at least he could do was dump her and stop her from suffering so bad." I replied annoyed at Dustin's stupidity.
"He told her that loving her was not a problem, that trust is an issue. He will let her know by Friday if they are done." He repeated. I shook my head some more.
"So we have 4 more days of this?" I asked.
"Yeah, it kind of freaks you out you know? What if that would have been Jamie sending those pictures. Would I have noticed? Would she ever do that?" He questioned looking conflicted.
"You know she would never do that. Speaking of her did you ever tell her the one thing." I asked remembering our conversation not long ago.
"Haven't seen her. All weekend she was with Clair. I mean we text ,but that isn't something you can really say in a text message. And With my schedule with basketball and the stuff with my family get togethers only time I see her anymore is at school. Even then it's if fey." Tray complained as sadness swooped his face.
"You know she wants to be around you." I reassured him.
"I know, I'm just being paranoid but it seems like she doesn't even like me anymore." He stated.
"Tell her that than. Last thing she needs, is dealing with her heartbroken and Clair's mess." I advised him.
"Only problem is that Clair is always there." He complained.
"I can entertain Clair tomorrow night after practice you talk to Jamie." I commanded.
"Thanks man, well I got to go work on biology. I will see you later." He announced running to his brothers car. I shook my head. Sometimes I swear this world is full of to many idiots....
