You know how it's like. What It feels like when up see your idol in love. For most girls, they love one direction. I do. I'm not going to deny it. But there's one boy I like the most. A certain boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. Pale skin and a rich Irish accent. Yeah. I really like Niall Horan. And no, I'm not deluded, I know I have no chance with him. Or so I thought.

It started on a normal school day. I know what you're thinking. 'like that's going to happen'. But it did. Anyway like I said, it was on a school day. I was walking to school, because my mum had a new job which meant she wasn't able to drive me to school in the morning. So that meant I had a 2 and a half mile walk, and just my luck, it was raining. Absolutely pouring it down. Typical British weather I suppose. My headphones were plugged in and I was blocking out the world, walking around in my own little life.

One directions 'over again' came on, so I pulled out my iPod and skipped the track. Don't get me wrong, I love One Direction, but that's the problem, I'm fed up of being the obsessed girl who likes that boy band. I know my friends like them too, but I guess there's no point. I'm never going to meet them, and even if I do I'll just be another 'dedicated' fan who they deal with everyday.

So anyway I skipped the song, and stuffed my iPod back into the pocket of my hoodie. I recognised the song. It was 'sum me up.' I don't know why but this song always makes me tear up. I felt the tears build up in my eyes as I carried on walking. I was going to be late for school anyway so I might as well not worry about it. I'll just get another late from mrs Clarke.

I must look such a mess right now. My beanie plastered to my head with the rain, and my jacket soaking wet. Fortunately I didn't have to worry about my makeup running down my face, because unlike some of the people at school who feel the need to plaster it all over their face, I didn't wear any. I was blessed with clear skin, which my friends envied, so I didn't need to cover it up, and mascara always ended up half way down my face anyway.

I was absolutely freezing and could feel a cold coming on already. Speaking of which. I sneezed, tripping up at the same time. I know, clever right. Managing to stay upright I just closed my eyes, and took a deep breath, right as the big four by four drove past me and sent a huge splash in my direction. Great.

I was about to ignore the water and carry on my depressing journey, when the car that splashed me reversed and pulled up beside me. The door opened in the back and I turned around to see him. Niall. Looking guilty and sheepish. "Hello." he grinned.

Nialls pov

We were sat in the car, all singing along to Justin Bieber's latest single on Grimmy's show, trying to keep our moods up because of the shit weather outside.

When the song had finished Louis let out a loud cheer, I swear there's something wrong with that boy. I just looked at him and shook my head, knowing that I couldn't do anything.

"what's up nialler?" Harry asked me. "nothing, just thinking." I smiled. I turned to look out of the window again, and I spotted a figure, a person on their own in the down pour. As we got closer I could tell it was a girl. She must feel horrible having to walk in this rain. "li?" I asked looking at the boy on my right. He just raised his eyebrows in reply, prompting me to go on. "can we pick up this girl please? She looks really cold and she must be soaking." I begged. "niall, we can't pick up random people of the street, for all we know she could be a creepy murderer or something!" Liam replied, slightly overreacting.

I heard harry's laughter from opposite me, "Lili she's not a murderer. I can tell from here, she's too small!" I smiled at Harry, silently thanking him for sticking up for me.

The van drew up level with the mystery girl and I watched her as we drove past, and I could see how pretty she was from here. He wet air was clearly a light brown colour, and was very long, and he brown eyes framed by black glasses. I laughed as I saw her sneeze, then trip slightly at the same time. However as we drove past our van drove through the puddle by the side of the road, effectively covering the girl from head to toe in water from the road. "Liam we have to stop now. We splashed her!" I protested.
