Valentino laughed, approaching the table as close as he could get, wanting to look intimidating to her. Kathryn scowled at him, watching his every step as he paced back n' forth, staring him down with every bit of rage against him. "So, Kathryn, do you remember anything of your family, besides the ones you know?" Valentino questioned her, giving a hiding smirk. "I'll never tell you, besides I don't know anything anyway," Kathryn refused with a slight answer, crossing her arms while turning away from him. Valentino huffed as his frustration grew within his heart, his cold, dark heart. "You just answered me though, so you must know something of the sort," Valentino claimed, pounding his fist on the table with a great force. Kathryn stayed silent, still scowling at him while he looked her in the eyes with a great rage of fury. "Fine, then I guess you don't mind if Seb is given a new mark, right?" Valentino asked with a wide smirk on his face, snapping his fingers as the guards grabbed Seb his shirt. One of the guards entered the room with a sharp steel sword, swinging to form an inch of a distance towards his face, cutting a line across his face. Seb screamed in agony, struggling to get free, but the guards let him go after, pushing him to the ground. "No!!! SEB!!! What is wrong with you? You're a monster!!" Kathryn exploded in tears, rising from her chair, pounding both of her fists on the table. Valentino kept his confidence up, trying to keep his rage from exploding as Kathryn did with her emotions just now. "Kathryn, I'm not a monster, I'm your friend remember, you used to help me with my wants, now let me help you," Valentino chuckled, extending his hand towards her, quickly putting his arm down after. "Wait, Kathryn...is that true?" Seb asked her, his face expressed his fear on his face as he stayed lying on the ground. Kathryn grew nervous, shifting her eyes to the left of her, down to the floor, slumped her posture with a groan of guilt, scratching the back of her scalp. "Kathryn......" Seb called out her name, except his tone gave a slight questionable sound, for he wanted to know the answer. Yet, looking from her body language, he could tell that she was saying it was true. Tears came from Kathryn's eyes as she tried to run, but the guards pushed her down next to Seb, smirking at her as well. Seb looked down to the floor, shocked by the truth from Kathryn's actions to her body language to her facial expressions. Kathryn turned the other way, not ready to face Seb and explain her story to him, but before things to an end, a scythe flew in like a boomerang. The scythe knocked out all the guards in the room by some sort of direction of knowing what to do. Kathryn narrowed her eyes on the flying scythe in the room as the weapon struck the wall, stuck in the crack it made. Looking closer at the scythe, it seemed familiar, but her memory couldn't remember until a certain engraved R on the scythe gave her a clue on what was going on.
Down the hallway, the sound of quick footsteps increased in volume, causing Kathryn to smile, for she knew who it was. Rising from the ground, Kathryn helped up Seb as Rose finally entered the room, out of breath, leaning against the iron bars near her. "Rose!!! Thank you!!" Kathryn exclaimed, wiping her almost-dry tears, running towards with arms open wide until Kathryn hugged Rose in a warm embrace. Rose froze in place, not sure what to do, no one had hugged her before, she'd usually had to earn a hug or something of the sort to show that she was even worthy of one. Yet, at this moment, Rose knew she saved the day, but she didn't think she was worthy of a hug, so she struggled out of Kathryn's arms with tears pouring down. Noticing this, she let go of her, worried that she caused panic inside of Rose as Rose stayed at a distance from her. "What's wrong, Rose, what did I do?" Kathryn questioned her in concern for her mental well-being. "Nothing, I-just...Just...." Rose cried out, turning away in tears with her eyes closed and her heart aching, "Look, It's just, I don't usually get something like a hug until I earn it," Rose explained in a whaling tone of voice. Kathryn's eyes drooped down, sensing the pain coming from within her, "Rose, you deserve love just as much as everyone else, but understand how difficult it can be for someone with that kind of mindset,". Rose turned to her, tears still intact as Kathryn wiped them away, "Are you sure? But you don't know what it's like to not feel loved or unwanted," Rose replied, staying cautious around Kathryn's comforting words. "Of course, I'm sure, when I was little girl, my father caused me to feel the same way, sending me and my sister, Monika, here to be experimented on without a care in his heart," Kathryn reassured her, put a hand on her shoulder while wiping away tears with the other hand. Rose began to cheer up as her tears were finally gone, walking over to her scythe, taking it out of the wall to only hold it for comfort. Kathryn stayed back a little distance, not wanting to bombard Rose with her comforting presence in the moment of calm. Sebastiano stepped closer to Kathryn at the moment, placing his hand on her shoulder as she turned to him with an expression of worry, but hopefulness at the same time. "Rose?" Kathryn called to her, hoping she would answer or at least look at her, which Rose exactly did. "Are you okay so far?" Kathryn asked at the moment, scorching the half of her long and wavy blonde hair that was let down. Rose nodded, exiting the interrogation room with a sense of a still calm, and a hard grip on her engraved scythe. Kathryn and Sebastiano followed behind her, but at a somewhat far distance, giving her space to gather her thoughts and clear her mind again. As the three exited the abandoned hospital, Rose made her way away from Sebastiano and Kathryn for the moment. This made Kathryn wonder if her hug made things worse, causing herself to tear up with shaking nerves. Sebastiano saw the tears and panic in her eyes, so he turned her to him, wiping the tears from her face as they poured. Looking at him, Kathryn felt a sense of security as he comforted her at the moment, hugging him as she had a moment in panic and fear.
