I woke up feeling super hungover. I moved to my right and felt a body next to mine. "Morning Lizzie" I smiled sheepishly at the body before rolling back over falling back asleep
When I finally woke up for the day it was 1:36 in the afternoon. I groaned rolling out of bed making my way towards the bathroom. I took a shower than got dressed for the rest of the day. "Soph you here?" No response, typical. She's probably out with her friends, I took some pills sitting on the couch. My phone rang Paul, I haven't talked to him in awhile
"Samantha how are you?" I put on a fake smile "I'm doing good. Whats up?" I got off the couch looking for a drink "I just got off the phone with the theater, They said its a go" I smiled "No way I got the part?" I couldn't believe it "Yep you start as Mrs.Lovett on September 2nd to December 18th" I smiled taking a sip of my wine, "Thats great, I can't wait" we talked about other roles for a few minutes"It's also in Central London so you'll have to fly home" I smiled "I need to get home anyways" we said our goodbyes, I looked at my phone, it was depressing. I had people to talk to but they didn't know me, like really know me.
I waited patiently for Sophie to come home. It was around 2 in the morning when the front door finally opened revealing a super high Sophie. "Heyyyyyy babe I missed you" she came over trying to kiss me but I moved away, "Your sleeping on the couch" I walked back into our room falling asleep. I'll have that discussion with her tomorrow
Elizabeth POV It's been 5 months since I've seen or talked to Sam. Every time something important happens I want to call her but I can't. I've been so miserable, I've realized now that I didn't date her was because I'm madly in love with with her, but I was to scared to admit it. I need my best friend back
I didn't know where to start so I called Scarlett. I waited for her to answer which was making me nervous. "Lizzie my love what's up?" I smiled starting to feel calm, "I'm in love with Sam" it felt good to finally say it aloud to someone other than myself "What?!?" I sighed "I'm in love with her" I waited a few moments before talking again "I don't know what to do"
Samantha POV I sat in the living room waiting for Sophie to wake up I checked my phone it was 2:30 in the afternoon. I groaned calling Richard. "Hey Sam?" I took a deep breath "Hey Rich, uh how've you been?" It felt so weird to be talking to him after a few months "It's good, I'm in LA right now" I gasped "Wanna get lunch?" I heard him chuckle through the phone "Sure, where you want to go?" I thought for a few moments "I know a really good sandwich place"
When I saw Richard at the shop I ran into his arms crying. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry" he held me gently rubbing his hand over my head "Your fine. I forgive you" I hugged him tighter mumbling into his shirt. "You know I can't understand you when you mumble" I nodded releasing him from the hug, "I feel like such a bad friend. I ghosted you and Emilia when I got with Sophie" he cupped my face "Look at me, I'm always going to be your best mate not matter what" I nodded "Let's get some lunch I'm starving"
Throughout such I could feel myself itching for more pills, "You're sweating" I sipped some water, "Its just really hot" he nodded "Do you want to eat inside or something?" I shook my head "No" I cleared my throat "I'm gonna go to the restroom" He nodded, when I got into the small one person bathroom I imminently went into my ours grabbing the pills, I looked down at them feeling sick, I knew I needed them but I didn't want to be addicted to these things anymore. I sniffled taking them. I clenched my jaw waiting a few more seconds before retuning
It felt nice to be with Richard again, for the first time in months I felt happy. "So I'm doing Sweeney Todd in Central London" he smiled taking a bite of his pickled egg, "That's amazing Sam! When is it? I'd love to go" I smiled "My first day is September 2nd and the last day is December 18th" he nodded pulling out his phone, "I'll keep that in mind" I smiled as we continued to eat
