Elizabeth POV
Today I was finally meeting Sam's parents. I was super nervous and my anxiety was going off the rails, They're going to hate you, her mom doesn't even like you. You don't deserve her, you've broken her so many times already "How do I look darling?" I looked at Sam, "You look beautiful" She blushed turning back to the mirror

Sam pulled up to the restaurant we were meeting her parents at and I started to panic. "Sam...I-I can't do this" she took my hand instantly "Lizzie look at me, my parents are going to love you. You're perfect" I closed my eyes nodding "But your mom" Sam shook her head "My mum's opinion doesn't matter. If they hate you it's no big deal" I shook my head "But it is a big deal, she's your parent" Sam took a deep breath "Do you trust me?" I nodded "Than trust me when I say your going to be fine"

Samantha POV
"Than trust me when I say your gong to be fine" Lizzie nodded looking at the bottle of wine in her lap, "I'm scared" I smiled "Tell you what. I'll go in first than when your ready you fallow" She shook her head "I want to go in with you" I sighed "Babe, my parents are super chill" she nodded unbuckling her seatbelt

We got to the door Lizzie turned around "Nope, Lizzie look at me. You're going to be fine, I love you alright" She nodded, I kissed her hand before opening the door

We walked in seeing the host "Hi we have a reservation for Parker" The guy looked over his list "Yup I have you right here. Fallow me" I grabbed Lizzies hand in mine falling him towards the back. We had our own rom which was nice, in the middle was a long table with my mom and dad sitting drinking a glass of wine

"Hey guys" My mum stood from her seat "Sam darling so glad you could make it" I smiled warmly embracing my mother in a hug, "Mum this is my girlfriend Lizzie, Lizzie this is my mum" Lizzie smiled widely "It's an honor to meet you Mrs.Parker! Sam talks very highly of you and your husband" My mum smiled eyeing me as she embraced Lizzie, "Please call me Mary" Lizzie nodded

We sat down having some small talk "So Elizabeth you're an actor?" she nodded at my father "yes sir. Thats actually how I met Sam" My mother scoffed under her breather making me give her a sharp look, "Sam tells me you're an electrician?" he nodded "Yup, working for my company for over 30 years" She smiled, "Thats awesome", my mother stood from the table making my attention turn to the people that just showed up, "Alex dear oh how I missed you" She hugged my ex tightly before hugging the other girl she was with

Elizabeth POV
I saw Sam tense up so I moved closer to her. I rested my hand on her lower back "Are you okay?" Sam cleaned her jaw tightly "No" My rubbed my hand up and down her back "Thats Alex?" she nodded "Oh" Sam turned "Ya oh" I grabbed her hand "I'm sure it's going to be fine" Sam pulled her hand away "No it's not going to be fine" A blond woman walked over smiling "Hi I'm Gionna nice to meet you"

Sam gave the blond a fake smile "Sam" They shook hands, then she greeted me "Your Elizabeth Olsen" I nodded "Yup thats me" I awkwardly laughed "I'm a hug fan. I love you in marvel" I smiled "Thank you so much" Alex walked over "Hi Sam" She didn't even look up "Samantha" She turned to her mom "What?"

Samantha POV
"What" my mom scoffed "Say hello'  I chucked, giving my mother the death glare "And why would I do that?" Alex sighed "Dude you can be nice" I looked at her "Do us a favor and leave" she laughed "But I just got here" to my surprise Lizzie spoke up "She told you to leave" My mother shook her head "Girls be nice. Alex is an excellent young woman" I turned to my mum "You can't be serious?" I shook my head "Well Alex is a better fit for you than some cheater"

I shook my head feeling my blood boil "HOW DARE YOU. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HER AND YOU'VE MADE YOUR ASSUMPTIONS" My mum crossed her arms "EXACTLY SAMANTHA I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HER, EXEPT THAT SHE CHEATED ON HER BOYFRIEND WITH YOU" My dad stood up "ALL O FYOU NEED TO STOP FIGHTING" I looked at Lizzie who was silently crying "FUCK ALL OF YOU"

I grabbed Lizzies hand pulling her away from the table, "Samantha if you leave this restaurant your done" I let go of Lizzies hand, turning back to my mum "I was done the moment you invited her" I looked back at Lizzie who was standing close to the hallway "I love this woman with every fiber in my body, I can give two shits about what she's done in the past and your opinions of her. It's honestly pathetic that you'd rather have a relationship with your DAUGHTERS ex girlfriend than your own kid"

Once Lizzie and I were outside I heard someone yell my name "Samantha" I turned seeing Alex running after us. I let go of Lizzies hand, giving her my keys "Go wait in the car" she went to protest but I shook my head "Baby please just sit in the car" She nodded looking towards Alex and Gionna before going to the car. 

"What Alex?" She slowly walked towards me "I didn't know you were coming okay. Your mom just invited me" I crossed my arms "You should go back to your girlfriend" she chuckled "G aint my girlfriend" My eyes shot up in surprise "Really? Shes cute" Alex smiled "Ya, but she's not my type" I sniffled looking away from her "We missed you a the wedding" I shrugged "I was busy" She nodded "Trever asked about you" I smelled looking at my shoes "How old is he now?" I kicked my shoe slightly "5" I nodded "He's a good kid"

I looked back at my car seeing Lizzie sipping tear, "I gotta go" She nodded, "Sam" I turned to her "Ya?" She smiled "It was good seeing you" I looked down "Ya you too"
