Chapter 7 Dabi's First Day of School

Shigaraki stared at his hand in shock he'd just punched Chisaki. The teen had been so angry he'd done it without thinking he was gonna regret it he knew but at the moment he couldn't stop the smile from forming on his face. Kai was dazed for a few seconds he hadn't been expecting Shigaraki to punch him. The blue-haired male had always tried to avoid fights and when they did Kai dealt all the blows. Shigaraki always took it without once fighting back so why the sudden aggression? Sure he made sarcastic quips but never attacked him physically. Kai pushed himself back up into a sitting position his medical mask was stained with his own blood. Kai didn't notice the blood on his mask he only felt burning anger. He'd been punched by the loser of the school. He was gonna be humiliated when this got out he swore to make Shigaraki's life a living hell more than he already did. Kai would tell everybody about Shigaraki's freaky boyfriend. "You'll pay for that," Kai said threateningly Shigaraki didn't want to know what Kai was thinking of as revenge. 

Dabi glared at Kai, "Do anything to him and I'll burn you alive."

"I'd like to see you try," Kai said trying to scare Dabi who didn't look fazed in the slightest.

Kai seeming to just now realize his bloody nose shrieked it was a high-pitched sound. Shigaraki had heard teenage girl's screams that were deeper which made him laugh. Kai ignored the blue-haired male instead focusing on applying pressure to his nose with tissues he always kept in his pocket. Kai was terrified of getting dirty and germs after all. When Kai touched his nose with the tissue it hurt he was sure it was broken. The rest of the bus ride was silent between the three males much to Shigaraki's relief. He just wanted this day to end.

Dabi resumed trying to sleep while using Shigaraki as a pillow as he'd done earlier. But this time the teen shoved him off for saying they were boyfriends. He'd talk to the demon about this later but not right now on the bus when everybody could hear them. Shigaraki was certain Kai would tell everybody as revenge for Shigaraki punching him but he'd like to prolong everyone knowing for a while if possible. The demon whined in protest but stopped when Shigaraki sent him a glare. With an annoyed sigh, Dabi used his arm as a pillow. Shigaraki didn't know how he fell asleep on the bus like that but somehow he did. Then again Shigaraki was an insomniac maybe this was normal? No, this wasn't normal the demon was just weird he decided.

When the bus stopped in front of the school Shigaraki shook Dabi awake. He groaned but got up knowing he didn't have a choice. Besides, he'd heard human math classes were very boring he'd just fall asleep then if he wanted. The bus driver opened the doors multiple people rushed out in a hurry to leave. Shigaraki waited for a minute to not get run over he got off the bus Dabi following close behind. 

Now came the hard part forging Kurogiri's signature good thing Shigaraki's done it enough on permission slips the last few years to get it down almost perfectly. Shigaraki usually didn't try with his handwriting as long as he could tell what he wrote it was fine. But now it was actually important to make it look nice Kurogiri wrote in cursive much to the teens disliking. Shigaraki had signed the necessary paperwork to get Dabi registered for school when the office secretary wasn't looking. He didn't want to get in trouble for doing this. Dabi had needed a fake name so he came up with Touya Todoroki. Shigaraki wondered how'd the demon had come up with it instantly but he didn't question it. 

Shigaraki helped Dabi with his schedule before leading him to their first-hour class. Shigaraki picked him the same classes he took so he could keep an eye on the demon. The two entered the classroom they were late because Shigaraki had to help Dabi with getting registered. A few people looked up when they entered but most minded their own business. Shigaraki took his usual seat at the back Dabi sitting on the other side of him. Toga was on Shigaraki's left she smiled at him in her usual cheerful way, "Hello, Tomu who's your friend?" She asked pointing to Dabi.

Dabi noticed Toga had sharp vampire-like fangs. Dabi thought she might actually be one they were unusually sharp it wasn't uncommon for vampires to blend in among humans. Unlike demons, the only thing revealing them to not be human were their sharp fangs. She was sitting by the window sunlight illuminating her in light. So, she wasn't a vampire half-vampire then? Half vampires could be resistant to the sun. He'd ask her later.

"The names, Dabi." The demon said introducing himself Toga's gave him an even wider toothy smile.

"Hi, Dabi my name is Toga!" Toga said cheerful Dabi rolled his eyes at her over-excited behavior. Dabi was sure if she knew who he really was she'd be terrified. He changed his mind when she pulled out a knife and asked for his blood. Know he knew that she wouldn't be afraid of him the little crazy bastard. Shigaraki had to pry the knife out of her hand before the teacher noticed. She got lucky that the teen had otherwise she'd have been expelled. Dabi watched uninterested as the teacher talked about English he got bored he felt sleepy again. Dabi closed his eyes promising himself he'd only sleep for a moment but before he knew it sleep took over him.
