Me and Squints were walking out of Vincent's drug because Benny had told us to get a ball for today. I was really pissed off at Squints because he started to walk away with it, I mean I bought it first did I not?! I finally walked up to him, & told him to give me the ball when he stopped. "Hey, what's the matter with you?" I said while repeatedly hitting his shoulder. "Wendy Peffercorn, mmm" Squints said while pointing at Wendy. While she is the prettiest girl in town, well y/n tied with her. I'm not attracted to her or y/n, that's Squints "girl", & y/n is Benny's girl. Everyone can see how crazy Benny is about her.

Squints P.O.V

I walked out of Vincent's after Yeah-Yeah bought the ball, I just really wanted to see the look on his face & jus- There she is, Wendy Peffercorn who is my girlfriend. Other people can't see it but I can maybe later on my wife. While I was staring at her, she smiled at me. Yeah-Yeah took the ball from me, tried to drag me away from looking at Wendy, it worked, & we ran all the way to The Sandlot.

Y/N P.O.V

It was so hot, a barn full of animals could sweat. We were waiting on Squints and Yeah-Yeah to come back with the ball and I was standing with Benny. "Where have you guys been? We've been waiting forever already." Benny said. "What did take so long guys?" I asked. "Ah Squints was perving a dish!" Yeah-Yeah said. "Shut up, I wasn't." Squints yelled out.
"Yeah-Yeah you were, your tongue was hanging out of your head. And you was swooning. Oh Wendy Peffercorn, my darling lover girl!" "I said shut up! I got a lot of things on my mind!"
