We arrived in front of a small house as Potter turned to face me and Draco once more, "So, why were you even down here, by Privet Drive?"

I was given a task by Dumbledore and Voldemort but it was up to me to choose my side. "Dumbledore sent me. With Riddle being back, I'm surprised you would think he'd leave you alone."

He looked at me confused and opened the door walking in, "But, why you?"

"Yes, Dumbledore chose me, get over it. I'm literally the most powerful witch you probably know, and now I'm your personal bodyguard. Lucky you."

He nodded understanding as he led us into the house. Draco grabbed my arm and pulled me back, "What is all this about? Explain, Scar."

"Harry, we'll just be a moment..." he nodded and pulled his cousin into the other room. I turned back to Draco and whispered, "Okay, Dumbledore asked me to watch over him, I don't want to and I can't stand him, but I need to. Because- I- well it helps with other aspects and I'll explain everything later. Just trust me."

He thought over it for a moment and then sighed nodding, "Okay fine, I trust you. Let's just go."

"Thank you, okay. No rude comments." I said as I pulled him into the living room where Potter had put his cousin down.

"What do we do, Scarlett?" Potter turned to me as I walked in.

I motioned for Draco to wait by the entrance and I moved closer to his cousin, "Hello, I'm Scarlett, what's your name?"

His cousin stared off into the distance as he thought but didn't respond. I turned back to Potter but just as he was about to answer, "OH DUDLEY!"

"Dudley! Dear, what happened!"

Two older persons had arrived and were now freaking out. They began to yell at Potter and soon took notice of Draco and me.

"Harry Potter! What have you done to my son?!" The older man began to yell and grab Potter by his collar.

Meanwhile, the smaller woman walked up to me as I backed up into Draco, "Who are you? Are you friends of Harry?"

I looked over to Potter and he nodded as if asking for help, then I turned to Draco who just sighed and stepped forward.

"Yes, yes Scarlett and I are friends of Pott- err, Harry." I grabbed his hand and squeezed it thanking him by nodding along.

"Of course, we're good friends of Harry's and I can help your son. If you let me." She peered at her son and turned back nodding as she went to pull the man away from Potter.

"Vernon, dear. This young lady says she'll help Dudley. Let them help him." She tried to reason with him, but the man continued to scrunch his fists up and squint his face as he yelled.

"Absolutely not! No more with the nonsense of magic!" I rolled my eyes when I saw that this was the definition of the no-mags I would rid of. I clenched my fist and walked towards him with a scowl on my face.

"Look, Vernon is it?" He nodded his head as he tried to intimidate me, "I'm a friend of Harry's and honestly I don't care whether or not you like me, I'm here to help your son, or would you rather him in a muggle hospital where they can't do anything?"

His eyes widened and he smiled grabbing Dudley by the arm, "Are you happy, Harry Potter? You've driven my boy loopy with your madness."

The man sat by his wife and son as Potter sat on the opposite side whilst Draco and I stood in the room's entrance.

The man then began to walk towards Potter, "I've reached my limit you hear? This is the last I'm going to take of you and your nonsense!"

The man then began to walk towards Potter, "I've reached my limit you hear? This is the last I'm going to take of you and your nonsense!"

Before the man could say anymore, a letter appeared. A letter from the ministry.

It flew up to Potter and spoke, "Dear Mr. Potter, the ministry has received intelligence, that at 6:23 this evening you performed the patronus charm in the presence of a muggle."

"As a clear violation, of the decree of the reasonable restriction of underage sorcery, you are hereby expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and wizardry, hope you are well. Mafalda Hopkirk."

The envelope then fell to the ground as I could feel Draco's smirk and Potter's eyes as I met his concerned look.

"Finally, justice!" The oversized man spoke as he held up his spoon in victory.

I looked to Draco and nudged him as he dropped his smirk and I walked to Potter, "Oh, Harry. I'm sure they'll give you a fair trial, they can't do anything to expel you... yet."

He smiled and grabbed my hand pulling me upstairs. At first, I flinched at the half-blood's touch but I turned and grabbed Draco, pulling him along.

We entered a smaller room at the top of the stairs and Potter closed the door behind us kicking his drawer in the process.

"Harry, I'm sure it's fine, don't-"

"Scarlett, I appreciate everything you've done. But I'm expelled and I can't believe you aren't happy about that. You have hated me forever, I don't even get why you tried to help tonight."

"Harry! I have been trying to tell you ever since our first year, that I am not the bad guy. You judged me too quickly because of my abilities or my house. Ever since we met at Ollivander's, Harry I've been through just as much as you! You have to learn to trust me."

"Okay, okay. I trust you. Can we start over?" He reached his hand out and I nodded offering a smile.

"Of course, Harry. I also understand that you two may not get along and that's fine."

"Oh, thank Merlin!" the boys said simultaneously and I just laughed.

Later we had decided to stay the night and Harry had pulled out some extra blankets as I made a makeshift bed on the floor for Draco and me. He made a fuss but in the end, he fell asleep.

I leaned against the wall as Draco's head was in my lap.

"How are you so kind at times but scary and mean too?"

Turning my head I meat Harry's green eyes, "Scary and mean?" He nodded and I chuckled, "I don't know. I guess I've just lost a lot, and it comes up at times but I'm not going to let you die, Harry, I wouldn't let you die."

"I just have a simple question." I laughed and he continued, "Did you mean to kill her? Or I mean, do you regret it?"

"I- I- well in a way, she was destined to go. Whether it was by me or that blast-ended skrewt. Though I just wish it wasn't me because the weight of her death hurts. And even Blaise hasn't spoken to me since."

"Does it ever go away?" I met his eyes and shook my head.

"No, you just have to make room. Look, Harry, I know that you lost your parents, I did too. I also know that you lost a friend, Cedric. I did too, Pansy but I also lost Cedric."

"Though we weren't close, I've known him for as long as I can remember. Just keep in mind, that we aren't so different." I finished with a yawn as he nodded and took off his glasses laying down to sleep.

Just as I was about to daze off as well, the doorknob began to turn slowly.
