"Miss Grindelwald, what are you doing here?" Lupin asked as he eyed me and Draco behind me, "Who let you in?"
"Uhh, long story but, Moody let us in along with Harry," I said with an uncomfortable smile.
"I understand, do you by any chance have your wand, I would like to do a quick analyzation of its core."
"That won't be necessary, Lupin. Scarlett, come here." I turned to the voice meeting the one and only Snape. I made my way over to him as Draco held a small conversation with Tonks.
"Yes, Severus?"
"Why are you here... has it begun?" I nodded and leaned in to keep quiet.
"Yes, it has begun and I was let in by Moody. Dumbledore asked me to watch over Potter."
He gave the smallest smile, "Dumbledore had chosen wisely though not for their own good." he paused and then continued, "So then the Dark Lord has agreed. Very well."
I gave him a quick hug as he left the and Draco soon reunited with me, "She's a half-blood, but quite cool. I will deny that if you ever repeat it."
I looked him in the eye and scowled, "Draco, she's a half-blood, just don't corrupt your blood."
"Says you, you have the purest blood of anyone here, yet you are rubbing elbows with the great Harry Potter. I don't understand you, Scar."
"I have to, Dumbledore gave me a mission to watch over him, if I had my way, things would be different. Trust me." I sneered as we watched the rest of the group file into the dining room.
We walked in after them but only stopped where Snape stood as there was no one else there we were comfortable with... other than the twins.
When things had settled down, Black looked around the room smiling, but it dropped upon seeing me.
"What are you doing here?" He hissed and I stepped forward.
"I would be careful who you talk to like that Black because if you haven't forgotten, I saved you. And your mother along with Kreacher seemed quite fond of me." I said smirking as he softened his gaze at me.
"Fine, but what of the Malfoy boy?" he pointed to Draco who stood behind me.
"Draco is here with me and though he nor Harry get along, he's here." At my statement, Harry thought for a moment before falling onto realization.
"Wait, your father-"
"Draco is not his father and is not associated with that of. Leave him out of this." I hissed as he stopped and nodded slowly. "Now I was told Kreacher made food."
Mrs. Weasley then stood forward and laughed, "Don't be silly, that Kreacher never makes food for anyone, he-" she was cut off by the apparation pop as Kreacher entered the room.
"Kreacher has made Lady Scarlett and Master Draco food," he said as he handed me a tray of delicious food.
Draco licked his lips upon seeing the food and grabbed an apple quickly before leaning on a chair.
"But Kreacher, I am your master and you don't even serve me upon will. Why them?" Black spoke as he sat down followed by everyone else.
"Kreacher was given order by Mistress Black to serve Lady Scarlett and Master Draco food. They are purer than you could ever be!" Then in one fell swoop Kreacher was gone and everyone turned to me.
"What does he mean purer than me? The House of Black is the purest there is." I set the tray down as Draco took a seat to my right and Snape to my left.
"Scarlett is the one who bears The Purity Rose," Granger answered as I cocked my brow listening, "She's purer than anyone in the Wizarding World."
"Is that true, Scarlett?" Lupin asked and I nodded.
"Wicked!"
The twins yelled as they apparated up behind me, "So we could,""Get away with anything if,"
"She vouched for us!"
Mrs. Weasley stood and scorned the boys, "There will be no such thing!" She took her seat once more and turned to me, "So is that the rose that your mother spoke of?"
I nodded and turned my head as my hair was already in a bun exposing the rose. They all looked at it then began to drop the subject by eating the food Mrs. Weasley prepared for them.
I reached out my fingers delicately as I grabbed a fresh loaf of bread.
"Scar," Draco whispered into my ear, "What is that? When did you get a tattoo?"
I snapped my head almost meeting his face, "I- I don't have a tattoo Draco."
"Yes, you do," he nodded and grabbed my hand as he pointed to the black rose in between my fingers.
"Oh, I must've forgotten," I said as Snape took notice in our conversation along with Harry.
"I didn't notice that before Scarlett. What does it mean?" Harry asked as I straightened up in my seat growing tense.
"It's a rose with two leaves, one for each of my parents. They use to call me their little rose, that's why at Grindelwald Ma- I mean that's why at Malfoy Manor we have two white roses planted in the greenhouse outback. For my parents."
"No, you were going to say, Grindelwald Manor, weren't you?" Harry stood up scraping his chair.
I stood up to face him, "No, I didn't. I made a mistake I was referring to my old manor, where I used to live with my parents. But now I live with the Malfoys."
"What about your uncle?"
"I- we both live with them."
"No, no he wouldn't. I saw the tension, your uncle may tolerate his father but they don't get along." he quickly dashed out of the room as I followed him.
"There was no tension! Harry! Stop!" I knew what would happen if he tried to go. He soon stood in the fireplace grabbing floo powder. He threw the powder down at his feet.
"Grindelwald Manor!" Then he disappeared.
Everyone began to file into the room and I looked to Snape who just nodded, then I was gone.
