Draco's POV ~

"I'll be in the common rooms..." she stood from her seat and walked down the table.

"Wait, wait Scar." I stood from the bench and followed her, catching up, "Alright let's go."

She shook her head and sighed, "No, you stay. Don't worry I'm fine. Nothing is going to happen. Why don't you go and find that girl you were talking about. I'll just be in my dorm, so I'll see you later."

I nodded confused and she turned to walk away. I stood frozen for a moment, then I realized what I had said. Before I knew it I was running to the kitchens by Hufflepuff House.

I requested some panckaes, strawberry shakes, and fresh fruit from the house-elves. I waited as they prepared the food and soon another guy had walked in. He took a seat at the counter and looked at me. He must've been Ravenclaw because of his robes.

"Hey, you're Draco Malfoy

"Hey, you're Draco Malfoy... What are you doing here? I thought this place was hidden from Slytherins."

I sneered and turned to him, "I don't know what you've heard, but this place is just a stop for food, and that's why I'm here."

"Ahh, girl problems?"

I widened my eyes and nodded silently. He chuckled and soon chose to speak again. "Me too. Except it's someone who is way out of my league. Actually... I only just met her today, I never thought anything of her, but there was a spark... I don't know."

I sighed and thought about her, "Yeah, the girl I love is just too good for me. But she thinks I'm for someone else, but what she doesn't know is that if she ever needed anything, I would be there in a heartbeat."

"I'm Donovan, by the way," he reached out his hand to shake mine but I was cautious, which he noticed, "Donovan White, I am a pureblood if you're worried."

I shook his hand but then thought for a second, "Donovan White?"

He nodded and laughed, "You're the second person who's had that reaction to my name. Actually, it was Scarlett who reacted first. She is just a beauty sent from heaven."

I gripped the chair and clenched my jaw, "Scarlett, as in Grindelwald?" He nodded and then realized who I actually was as his eyes widened.

"Oh, is she, I mean never mind man, you're very lucky. Just forget I said anything." I rolled my eyes and turned to face the cooks.

"It doesn't matter, many guys have tried to pick her up but she's very, unique. You're not the first. But if you ever say that line to her, the 'she's a beauty sent from heaven,' she would respond with something like, 'sorry I crawled up from hell.' I'm not joking."

He nodded and laughed as shook his head, "That sounds like a very Slytherin thing to say. No wonder she said she was a typical Slytherin."

I nodded and the elf had returned with my food so I picked it up and gave a curt nod to Donovan. "Nice to meet you. I- well I have to go."

"Yeah, I get it. See you around." I nodded again and walked out of the kitchens making my way to the dungeons.

I made it to the commons and soon up to my own room. I changed into a simple black shirt and sweats. I walked over to the snacks and drinks and noticed something out of the corner of my eye.

The ceiling was empty, there was no sky. Now I know I did something wrong.

I grabbed the tray and walked out of my room and across to hers. I levitated the tray and softly knocked on the door because it was locked.

I waited a few moments and seconds later there was a small grumbling from behind the door, and soft steps that followed.

When the door opened, I came face to face with her. She gazed into my eyes and then turned and walked back to her bed. I followed her silently and levitated the tray of food in and onto her bed.

Upon seeing the pancakes and berries, she rubbed her eyes as they widened while a smile grew when she began eating.

I watched her silently and she noticed me staring before stopping, "I'm sorry, I just wasn't feeling well. Thank you, though."

"Always. Scar, I'm sorry if I said something wrong."

"No, it's nothing you said. D- do you want to watch a film?"

I tilted my head confused as she let out a small laugh, "It's like a photograph but it's longer and tells a story. It's a no-mag thing that the Weasley's showed me. It's honestly not bad, just trust me."

I sighed and gave in, "Fine, one film thing..."

She smiled and got up from the bed. Then she pulled out a white sheet and levitated it against the wall opposite her bed. She set up her wand at the base of the be and it set off light, projecting an image.

"This one is my favorite, I may have watched it too many times. It's called The Notebook."

(for my sake let's just pretend the release of the movie was like 1990 or something)

"Okay, it's starting," she stood up and got comfortable in the bed. I stayed on the couch and tried to get comfortable only for her to look at me weirdly.

"What are you doing, Dragon?" Every time she called me that, I felt like I could love her even more.

"I'm watching your film thing, why?"

"Over there?" I nodded slowly and she sighed, "You know, you're more than welcome to join me." Motioning to the bed, she spoke with a smile which I returned.

I got up and walked towards the green velvet bed. I sat down beside her and she quickly leaned up against me as she was finishing her fruit bowl.

I was tense at first but then leaned into her as well.

Two hours had soon gone by and the film thing was over. It was good and by the end, I had tears threatening to fall but I held it all together.

However, Scarlett was crying silently as she interlocked her fingers with mine, playing subtly with my rings.

She held out her hand and her wand made its way to her as the sheet was magically put away and the tray moved to the floor.

The room was now dark and she cuddled up against me as she put her wand under her pillow.

She wandlessly cast the enchanted sky over us and rested her head by mine. I wrapped my arms around her waist and soon enough we both fell asleep.
