School was coming to its end and soon every student was on the train once more.
I sat against the window in our normal compartment as Draco sat beside me. Blaise was accompanying Daphne and some other Slytherins while Esmeree had asked for a seat.
"I'm going to be so bored over the summer! I wish I could visit you," she exclaimed as I only watched her amused before replying.
"It's not that bad, it's only about two months. I'm sure it won't be terrible. Besides you have your father and stepmother."
"I mean yeah, okay." We laughed and for the rest of the ride, it was relatively full of chatter and laughter.
We were pulling up to the station and Draco had left to use the restroom and Esmeree turned to me.
"Why did you run from the Great Hall? You know, last week."
"I ran because everything was getting too stressful."
"But Draco left too."
"I wasn't aware that he left, I was really just hoping I wouldn't fall in love."
She smirked and placed a hand on my knee, "And did that work?"
I sighed and shook my head chuckling, "I've loved him since the very first moment that we met, yet I love him more and more every day. But I don't have the time nor agenda to be in a relationship right now."
"Bloody hell, but what about Alexander as well, doesn't he fancy you?"
"I don't know maybe. But I don't fancy him, he's just a friend."
"Does he know that?"
"Probably not..." I looked out the window and watched as the platform came closer with every second.
"Damn, you're screwed."
Letting out another sigh I laughed softly, "Yeah, I'm hearing the same sentence a lot lately. The funny thing is, I always say it to myself."
The train came to a stop and I grabbed my bag along my trunks as we departed from the train. I set my stuff down and turned to Esmeree, "Hey, do you want a tattoo?"
"Yes! Wait, why?"
"It's a special tattoo. If you need help, I'll know and I'll come. Okay?"
She nodded and thought for a moment, "Can I get it anywhere?"
"Sure, why not? Where do you want it?"
"Here, under my ear, that way I can hide it."
"You are a smart one." I smiled and seconds later the rose appeared behind her ear, "Alright, all done. Painless too. Now, remember if you are in danger, I will come to you."
"Thank you, you're the best!" She pulled me into a hug which I returned. "Oh, there's my dad, I have to go. See you soon!"
"Bye Ez." I watched as she grabbed her trunk and ran to her dad as they collided into a hug.
My smile fell and I was reminded that I was going home but to no one.
"Scar, are you okay?"
I sniffled a bit before turning to the voice, "Yeah, I'm okay Draco. I'm just waiting for one of my house-elves. The Minister decreed it." I bit my lip as he nodded.
"Okay, as long as you're alright." I nodded and he looked over my shoulder, "There's my mum now, are you sure you can't just come with us?"
"I would, but I- I have to go home."
