"Daisy... It's time to continue moving on the road." Christopher wakes me up.

He stands over me with his stuff already packed up, and he's already dressed. I look around the room, I thought this was a dream. It isn't though, this is my new reality. I quickly put on clothes and we rush out of the hotel to the car.

He starts the car and I look out of the window, wondering where the next place we're going to is.
I feel my eyes getting more and more heavy until I fall asleep. A pat on my shoulder wakes me up, we're now by an rocky cliff with a river down there.

"What are we doing here?" I ask Christopher.

"Cmon, we need to have fun on this long trip!" he takes off his shoes and run down the big rocks.

I kick off my shoes and follow him. I feel his hand on mine, and I grab onto it. I feel the wind breeze on my bare shoulders but it doesn't feel cold. It feels like a warm breeze on a summer afternoon. I sit on the biggest rock by the water and just look out to the shore. I put my head on his shoulder and he sits next to me. I spent so much time in my head that I didn't realize I had him all along. His gray eyes meet mine and for once I feel like this was the best option for me.

I never want to go home, I want to discover the world. We walk back to the car, and the road to a new beginning continues.

"Where are we going now, Christopher?"

"The nearest city, I think people are looking for us. We need to change our appearences, alright?"

I check my phone. We're all over the news! The teenage runaway couple from the privilaged small town, that's what we are to them. They don't see us as people, just spoiled brats that can't appericate their privliage.

"What if they find us?"

"They won't." he reasures me with a smirk across his face. He turns on the radio to keep down the thoughts in my head.

After a few hours we're in Glimerdale, the nearest city. There's a fence going through the entire city, on the other side of the fench there's a lake with boats sailing around it. Me and my dad always used to sail here.  Bouquets of white roses are on the fench.

Me and Christopher walk with a crowd of people to the supermarket. I tiptoe to try to reach the shelf with the hair dye. He grabs a box of blonde hair dye and put it in my hands. We also get a scissor to cut our hair.

After paying I find myself on the supermarkets bathroom floor. Christopher helps me put the entire bottle hair dye in my hair. My mom always wanted me to go blonde like her. I got my chocolate brown hair from my dad's side of the family.

He cuts the hair I grew for years to shoulder length hair. I cut his hair a tiny bit, I didn't want to ruin the messy hair look, it really suits him. We walk out of the store looking like completely new people. Christopher sees a picture of Paris in a store window.

"That's it, Daisy! We're going to Paris!" he points like a child at the painting

He grabs my hand and drags me along with him to the airport. Twenty three hours later I'm in Paris. I have never been to Europe before I remember telling him on the flight. He said that it's lovely.

"Bonjour! Welcome to Paris" a flight crew member tells us at the airport

Paris. Our forever home? I don't know, we'll see. Paris smells like a smell of freshly baked bread. Christopher once again drags me along to this cafe with a view of the entire city.

"My parents always used to take me here when we were in France for spring break. You'll love it!"

"I can't order, I can't speak french!" I remind him.

"It's a sushi place, of course you can order. They can understand english, you know?"

We order our sushi and sit down at a table for two. There's black thin railling that matches the black oldschool chairs. On the table there's two wine glasses of sparking water and two plates of sushi with chopsticks.

A romantic song is playing and love is in the air, this moment doesn't feel real. Less than a week ago I was a regular senior high school student, not even 18 yet. France is a lot colder than my small town. I didn't notice it at first but now that I'm this high up I can feel the breeze on my shoulders, I should've worn a jacket, christmas is less than a month away.

"Get up and dance with me, Daisy." he grabs my hand.

"I'm such a bad dancer!" I laugh

"Nonsense!"

He grabs my waist and we dance like no one is watching to the sound of a love song. I'm in love.
