Log 2: The Mission

[LOCATION: KAZU HEADQUARTERS]

"Hey it's me again." a lanky blonde man said drowsily as he held dark tattered clothes close to his chest and entered through the steel narrow door.

'Thank goodness this is my last shift.' He told himself as beads of tears formed by the sides of his eyes after his wide mouthed yawn.

His dark orbs slowly scanned the expanse of the metal confined room and eventually landed on two certain red heads.

'What're they doing way over there?' He asked himself as he moved towards their direction, trudging one foot after the other.

"Oi. Boss said to give you thi-" He suddenly paused at the sight in front of him.

Creaking sounds from the metal door prompted as the wind blew through the room. Goosebumps came all over his skinny figure as silence enveloped the vicinity, that is until he spoke up and decided to give quite a commentary.

"Man Yori!! Kid got you good!! Hahahaha!" He bursted out as he pointed at Yori's face.

"Helmeppo.." An irk mark appeared on Yori's forehead as she spat out the blonde's name with clenched fists by her sides.

"Get out now or else I'll make sure you'll end up as a decorative skeleton hanging by this very wall!!" Yori glared, completely scaring the cleft chinned man which sent him to place the clothes down and quickly bolt for the door.

"Gomenasai!!!" He called out as he slammed the door shut behind him.

Kid snickered after he heard Yori's death threat. 'Feisty as always..'

"You think this is funny?!" She asked turning to the man beside her.

"No." Kid stated as he tried hard to keep himself from laughing but it just seemed impossible after seeing the results of what he did.

"Stop laughing!" She warned as she turned her back at Kid. "And why the heck did you hit me in both eyes?! Couldn't you have at least hit one!? I mean look at me!!" Yori complained as she gestured at her reflection on the gray mirror like wall.

"The more the better right?" Kid countered and tried to stifle another laugh as he got a good look of Yori's swollen black eyes.

She had a few cuts on her legs that weren't too deep and would probably heal within several days. Her arms were bruised from the beating but not enough to stop blood circulation. After all, this was just a set up for the infiltration in the northern lands.

"I am so gonna get you back for this Eustass Kid!!" Yori shouted out as she grabbed the clothes and stormed off the room.

"Now that's... convincing." Their Leader said as he walked pass Yori with a black suitcase dangling on one hand.

'God I look like a red headed panda..' Yori commented inwardly as she headed hurriedly for the nearest wash room.

"Eustass. Take a seat." The man said as he gestured at one of the unoccupied leather chairs. "We have quite a lot of things to discuss."

"Something's telling me this is going to take a while.." Kid declared as he grabbed the chair and slumped on it comfortably. "Now spill it."
