Giovanna's POV

I woke up and saw Draco wasn't next to me so i assumed he was with the twins. I got up from the bed and stretched, I was about to go to the bathroom to freshen up when i heard a knock at the window. I saw a familiar Barn-Owl, an owl i haven't seen for around 2 years. I ran to the window and collected the letter, it read "To Giovanna and Draco Malfoy". "DRACO GET IN HERE" I shouted, "GIA SHUSH I JUST PUT THEO AND RORA TO BED" he whisper shouted as he entered the room.

"What is it love" he said as he kissed my forehead. "We got a letter and it was delivered by Theodore Nott Juniors owl" I told him and his warm expression changed to an angry one. "I thought i told that bastard to never speak to us again" he said, his voice laced with disgust. "Well he owled us so shouldn't we open it" I asked, "Yeh open it let's see what that son of a bitch has to say" he said as he gestured for me to open the letter. I carefully unfolded it and began to read out what it said.

Dear Giovanna and Draco Malfoy,

It's Theodore Nott Junior here. I know you told me to never speak to you again but i'm afraid this is urgent. Astoria was recently admitted into St Mungo's because of an unknown illness. Giovanna this might come as a surprise to you as you are a healer there yourself but we requested for you to not know about Astoria's admittance to the hospital until things get worse.

The healers are afraid that she doesn't have much time left and we should call all friends and family to say their goodbyes, since we were all good friends once i've invited you to come. The Potters, Diggorys, Zabini's and the Hamilton-Monroes have also received a similar letter.

Draco i know we were not on the best of terms when we last spoke and i know i've said this many times but i am extremely sorry. I hope you can at least temporarily put your hatred for me aside and come to support Astoria.
