The Shinshuu Plains [Part II]

To save a life

And play a fife

Is what we love to do;

I’ll smoke a pipe

and toke it right

To leave off the ground soon.

Taking in the scenery

Is where I always want to be,

The Shinshuu Plains are so lovely

Especially at night.

Looking out as far as one can see,

Into the distant hills of Shiranui.

Paint the sky with what I know it can use,

Is something that I love to do,

I make the atmosphere itself sing

‘Cause I have tried it, why don’t you?

Cherry Blossoms are the things

That make Nippon’s joy ring.

Down Saki River we flow,

To distant lands we go;

To where we go

I know not so

Sakura seeds I sow

As we need not row.

We’re on our way

From Shinshuu Plains

To Ryoshima Cost,

Our joy never feigns

even through rains

That Nippon’s pleasure boasts.
