Gah! That was me being frustrated out of my mind! I don't dare believe that what Nyx said was true, could I really be the traitor....no what if she was lying how could I possibly betray someone, or as big as the camp. That's not me. I hope at least!
We were at the campfire and a bunch of girls in silver jackets with bows and arrows came in through the camps borders. Everybody stood up, and there was one main girl in the middle front who looked deeply familiar?
I kept my mouth shut, and I kept twisting my fingers nervously incase anyone found out I was the enemy.....the traitor! Anyway the hunters, or at least they looked like hunters came up and told us there was an attack going on in a museum and that Lady Artemis? Told them to come here at camp half blood for a while. But still..... the girl in the middle looked extremely familiar, its on the tip of my tongue...... I gasped, all the the memories came back.
Thalia Grace was her name.
My childhood enemy...... in a grade, I forgot what it was, we were on a planet project together, she insisted we should do Jupiter but I wanted to do Saturn,we ended up doing Mars and we would always make fun of each other or trip each other in class and rip each other's homework secretly, but we always sat next to each other because we where both ADHD dyslexic.She was blue streaks and I was Hawaiian/Australian accent gingerbread cookie, when we were 8 years old she left, and never came back.
Now she was here, 5 meters away and I had no idea, my mouth went dry.
Would she recognize me? Does she still hate me? Does she remember me? Questions wandered in my brain. Now we were standing in front of each other she was holding a creepy shield with a brown bag slung over her a shoulder with a bow in her hands. I crossed my arms, but my heart beating fast.
"You seem very familiar, do I know you?" She asked, I tried to play cool, "Yes, Thalia you do know me maybe my name will help you, I'm Serenity Ortiz, Hawaiian/Australian accent gingerbread cookie?" The others stared at at me weirdly, "Hawaiian/ Australian accent gingerbread cookie?" Leo asked then his face lit up,"You two know each other?"
"Wait let me think..........Oh yeah you were in my school, my enemy? wait what!" I smirked p,"Yep hi again blue streaks!" I waved in her face then she frowned,"you again....." She growled, I smiled," Finally! I thought you forgot me!" I remembered Jason saying Thalia was his sister.....grrr....
"Wait! Jason SHE'S your SISTER?" I asked him, "yes...but...."
"Jason SHE'S your FRIEND?" Thalia asked, "also, yes but....." we didn't let Jason finish, "How in the world did you get here?why did you leave in the first place?" We both blared questions at each other. Hazel came between us.
"HEY! You two are fighting for while we are supposed to clean up camps and that is seriously not helping so stop." We Both apologized, and Chiron called the camp over.
He cleared his throat,"so we will have Conner and Cassie on painting, Clarisse, Thalia and serenity together for the tables, Annabeth and Frank and Lou Ellen on the Pegasus stables, the hunters of Artemis on the woods, Leo, Piper and Percy on the beach, Frank Travis, Cameron, and Nico on Zeus's fist, Hazel, Jamie, And Johanna on the flowers, Jason and Danny, with Samuel good cabin roofs." he assigned the rest of the camps jobs and we all went to work, we got 4 big piles of wood and some nails and 3 hammers, we nailed the Iris table together and painted a huge rainbow inside of a letter in the middle.
We did this to all the tables, and even made a Gaea table, while we were in the process Thalia said,"so where did your accent go?" I nailed the Hecate table together,"I got bored of it so I used an American one. Do I sound fake?" She shook her head,"no, but I'm so. Used to you having that whiny Australian accent, oooooh especially when you say, 'shut up Thalia, I don't want to!'" I rolled my eyes and she laughed, " say it once more!" She asked, "Alright Thalia Grace I want you to shut up and work on the godsdam tables!" I said through a thick Australian accent, "Ha! That's more like it!"
"Thalia?" I asked," yeah?" She replied working at a different table helping clarisse with the hammers because clarisse was pounding on them. "Umn... where did you leave to when we were 8 years old?" She stopped hammering and frowned she looked like she wanted to hit something, " I was running from monsters and I met a boy named Luke..." She grumbled," and then we found Annabeth and Grover later on...then we came to camp half blood where I turned into a tree for half of my life, and then I went on a quest with Percy and Grover when I was alive from the tree, and then I joined the hunters of Artemis. That's my story." she said.
Wow.
You can turn into a bloody tree at amp half blood? What the Hades! Anyway we finished just in time and I went to my cabin and cleaned up.
"It's about time I got you alone." I turned around swiftly face to face with a man..... my Dad. I shoved him backwards,"HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR UGLY LITTLE FACE BACK HERE AFTER ALL YOU'VE DONE, YOU.....YOU PIG!" I screamed at him but he just snapped his fingers and my arm twisted I yelped with pain.
"I want you to join Nyx's army and fight the demigods and have them destroyed so darkness can rule the world at the lunar exclipse! And I want you to pack your bags and leave within the next hour, and if you don't I will swiftly slaughter the demigods and have your, mo- well guardian killed as well, and won't you just go, it will be your fault they die anyway, Traitor." he snarled, "nope your wrong I'm staring at the traitor, and it doesn't surprise me that you are one.... What a shame." I said to him full of rage, " fine, as you wish." he brought out a huge sword and pushed it under my chin, a little trickle of blood flew down the sword.
"Okay fine I'll leave but then you will too, you don't ever bother any of them, please." my voice cracked a little at the end, he nodded and vanished. Tears fell freely from my cheeks, I was going to abandon them... join Nyx army and destroy them, I am the traitor.
I packed my bag and made a note.

I put it in an envelope and left it at the door of the Athena cabin, and I made sure every first word of the sentence spelled HELP ME! I walked out of the camp borders, a single tear fell down my cheek, "Good- bye Camp Half Blood, I'll miss you." I said.
Then I ran off with the map to Nyx's village.
