SERENITIES POV
I woke up and looked around and I didn't know where I was, so I called for help.
Nothing.
Slowly I got up and climbed out of a window and jumped out of it.i tried to at least think of where I was and it looked like a camp because there were cabins and a bunch of people walking around. Then I saw a huge border and surprisingly I could read it it said "Camp Half Blood" so I walked out of the camp and it felt like there was a layer or something that was protecting the camp and I saw thus huge Holden blanket type thing that looked like... THE FLEECE, how do I know about this? Well one day my mom was blabbering on about this stuff and I over heard it. yah.
Then as I was just about to trot if and return home until an arm grabbed me so thanks to my reflexes I elbowed the guy very powerfully in the gut and then he fell down groaning in pain.
I saw a glimpse if him and he had... GOAT LEGS?
"Yep I am a say...'groans in pain' tyr"
Did I say that out loud?
"Yes. yes you did."
THAT TOO
"Yes THAT TOO"
gosh I gotta stop doing that.
"Hades, yeah you should" he replied. I was just about to help him up until a girl who was sort of green.... yeah she was green came out of no where and helped him up.
"You alright Grover?what happened?why are you here?are you sure you are alright?"
"Juniper I'm fine, thanks" .liar. Okay this is crazy all of it is crazy!nuts I tell you! I would be less afraid if I didn't hear a huge roar and I saw HUGE monkey type animal that had glowing eyes it roared at me so loud I actually stayed in place and didn't run for it.
"Run!" Grover yelled. but I didn't I stayed put in place and didn't move a muscle. that's how afraid u was. It was just about to throw me to my death until I covered my face , the back PGA my hands facing my face. then the roaring stopped and by now all the campers came to see what was happening.
I looked up at the Monkey/Lion type thing and I was suddenly covered in vines and it was all tangled up. I went up to it and kept on scolding it then when it stopped thrashing, I was just about to pet it until the vines untangled and slid back into the ground, then the monster looked happy because it started licking me and purring... I don't know how but it just did.
All if the campers jaws dropped open and they looked at me shocked. I just smiled and since the situation got more awkward and people started staring at me. shy girl remember. I tried to walk off but a half horse half wise looking dude motioned me to stop, I did somehow?
"What is your name, full name if I may ask?" The horse dude said
"Um, serenity Destiny Ortiz?"
"And how did you get through the camp borders?"
"Oh I didn't two boys saved me from dying in a cave, and they sure looked like twins."
Just then the two boys appeared and they said "oh yeah it was us, and we just saw her screaming inside a pit in a cave which somehow appeared in camp." one of them answered.
Then the horse man nodded and said, "alright Travis, Conner and Serenity follow me into the big house and every one else get back to what you were doing please."
When everybody left we went inside this place which is called "the big house"
I took a seat beside Travis and Conner because I didn't want to feel like the loner I already am.
"Okay so Katie how did you find the rock anyway?" Chiron asked.
"So I just moved to New York and I always do this thing were I look at all the forests and beaches and I came across a forest and since I was tired I sat down but the rock pushed down and a door just opened inside a wall then when I went inside I hit lost and I fell into a pot and that's when Travis and Conner came."
Then both looked at each other and said, "fine we pranks the Ares cabin and that was a really BAD CHOICE and they all started chasing us but we saw an opening in the wall and we thought 'rather die or hide' so we chose the obvious one but when we heard someone was screaming we found her and we took her to the infirmary, that's all"
Chiron nodded but he said we should get going but he wanted me to stay here then suddenly the door burst open and Percy, Annabeth and the other boy came running inside.what!
Bam. I woke up sweat beading on my forehead and my breathing heavy. I realized everything was just a dream and that I had nothing to worry about.whew.
I went to the kitchen in our apartment and my mom was making breakfast, she looked at me and I looked back as well, it took me a good give minutes to realize that she had been turning purple and she was getting scarier by the moment.
" mom? What's happening to you?!"
She smirked evilly and it scared me a lot more than the huge lion monkey thing in my dream.
" you're not my mom, what did you do to her?!"
" I SAID WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!?"
She still didn't answer this hit me really mad so I tried swinging a fork at her which was the result of my heart being stabbed with a knife.
I woke up again and now I was sure thus had been reality and yet it was. I was in a bunk the bottom one and there was someone on the top one snoring softly and when u got up to look the curly haired and tanned skinned boy was fast asleep.
I only realized it was night by then and a fact about me is when I wake up I can't go back to sleep. then I remembered I was at this camp still, so I snuck out yeah that's right I was bored so I did I saw a little lake and since there was a fly at me and I swatted my hands which made a huge wave fall on me. I started coughing and choking, like how did that happen?
I tried to dry my clothes so I scrunched up my shirt which made a fist with my hands and then all if a sudden a flame caught on it and I started whipping it around again which caused another wave to come at me...... WHY ME!
Then lastly I fell down and my two fingers, the pointer and middle finger looking like a peace sign hit the ground first and this caused me to wince in pain because you wants to fall finger first?
Anyway when I made the peace sign with my fingers which caused a huge gust of wind to come at me, this caused me to hit a tree on my back REALLY hard and I was groaning in pain this time not screaming, wind is THAT strong ugh.
When I finally got up and carefully put my hand in a tree branch which was a lever?
Under the tree was a staircase that went underground and u decided not to go underground because people would suspect I am missing so I headed back to the cabin I was sleeping in, on the top if the cabin door,outside, in bold writing it said, 'HEPHAESTUS' hmmm... I am pretty sure he is the god of fire and crafts and if blacksmiths, I think.
So I walked in the cabin and closed the door.
"And where have you been?" A voice said, I turned behind me to see who it was but it was really dark so,no.
"Why do you want to know and WHY should I tell you?"
The voice just sighed and came out if the dark, and it was the dude who was sleeping before.
" hi I'm Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus."
