BETTY'S POV

I woke up to Jughead's soft voice. My eyes opened slowly looking at the man standing beside me.

"Good morning gorgeous! I made you some birthday pancakes for your special day!" Jughead smiled.

"Thank you Juggie." I smiled slowly sitting up.

He handed me the tray of food. A cup of coffee was beside the plate of pancakes. Along with a single red rose. And a heart shape pancake.

"This is so sweet." I giggled.

"I wanted you to wake up to a little surprise, but I have way more for this afternoon and even tonight. We are going to a nice fancy dinner." Jughead said.

"Thank you!" I smiled.

He gave me a kiss before laying next to me like the night before.

"I just want my girl to have an amazing birthday." He said.

"Well that means the world to me." I said.

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand. As I went through my notifications I noticed how non of my family had text me. When me and Jughead got married we moved a couple hours away from both of our parents, so we always text to keep in touch. Now on my special day they didn't even care enough to text.

"What's wrong?" Jughead asked.

I guess he noticed the way my mood changed so fast. Or maybe the look on my face.

"My parents and family are three hours ahead of us right?" I asked.

"Yeah." Jughead said.

"I think they forgot my birthday." I said softly.

"Hey don't think like that. Maybe they got busy and were waiting for you to be awake so they could call." Jughead said.

"Maybe." I said.

He kissed my cheek a couple times.

"Do you want your presents now?" He asked.

"Sure." I smiled.

He got out of bed going to the closet. He opened the doors coming out with three boxes. Jughead got back in bed with the gifts. I looked at the boxes trying to figure out what he would have gotten me.

"You can open them." He said smirking.

"I'm just trying to figure out what's in them." I said.

He gave me a smile. I grabbed the first one taking off the wrapping paper. Inside the box was a gorgeous necklace that had a small diamond glowing from it.

"I know you don't like chunky jewelry so I got a smaller one, but I thought it was pretty." He said.

"It's amazing, thank you!" I smiled.

"Anything for my girl." He said.

I opened up the next too which were diamond earrings, and a new dairy with some new pens. I looked up at Jughead with a confused look.

"I see you still writing in yours every night. And from what I can tell you were almost out of pages, so I saw this one and wanted to give it to you." He said.

"You are the best husband a girl could ask for." I laughed giving him a big kiss.

"I try for a girl like you. Now we can anything this afternoon but dinner is at five. So we need to leave by four fifteen." Jughead said.

"Will do, but for the rest of the time I want to watch movies and cuddles." I smiled.

"Okay." He chuckled.

We did exactly what I wanted till two. I finally got out of bed going to our closet to find something to wear. Once I found it I walked in the bathroom. By four fifteen I was getting in the car with my hair and makeup done and a gorgeous dress on.

"You look stunning." Jughead said.

"Thank you baby." I smiled.

We arrived at the restaurant in no time. The waiter got us a table. It was a nice fancy restaurant which made me see how much Jughead cared. I don't think he would ever stop spoiling me.

We ordered our food and talked. It was getting late but I kept noticing Jughead looking at his phone to make sure no one had text.

"What are you looking at?" I asked.

"Nothing. I'm just waiting from a text from work." He said giving me a small smile.

"Oh okay." I said.

When our food came I noticed Jughead getting extra worried. He was looking at his phone most of the time while trying to eat.

"Jug, what's really going on?" I asked.

"Nothing, it's jut work I promise." He said.

"Are you sure? You seem super stressed." I said.

"It's about a book deal." He said.

"You weren't gonna tell me?" I asked.

"I wanted to wait to see if I got it or not." He said.

"Oh." I said.

The waiter came back over before he could say anything else.

"Any desserts?" She asked.

"No, I think we are good." Jughead said.

"Okay, I'll bring the bill." She smiled before leaving.

I looked over at Jughead.

"Why no desserts?" I asked.

"We can make something at home." He said.

"Okay." I mumbled.

I mean it was my birthday. A little dessert may help the fact that my family still hadn't answered me what so ever.

After we ate we got back in the car to go home. We were about five minutes from our house when I finally said something.

"Do you think my parents really forgot?" I asked.

"I don't know babygirl. Maybe they just got busy. Or maybe there phones aren't working. I don't know, but I don't think they would ever forget your birthday." Jughead said.

"I guess your right, it just kind of stinks not being able to see them today." I said.

"I know, but I hope you still enjoyed your birthday." Jughead said.

"I did, and I had a great boyfriend to celebrate with. Thank you." I said softly.

"Of course." He smiled.

We pulled up to our house. When I got out of the car Jughead grabbed my hand. We walked in seeing a pitch black house, but then Jughead turned on the lights. All my family and his was standing with a cake in their hands.

"Happy birthday!" They all yelled.

I turned towards Jughead. He looked at me smiling.

"You weren't waiting from a text from work were you?" I asked.

"Maybe." He smirked.

Because of him, I had the best birthday a girl could ask for.
