BETTY'S POV
"Baby are you done yet?" Jughead asked from him and I's bed.
"Almost." I yelled from the bathroom.
A couple moments later I walked out in a cute pair of pjs. I laid beside Jughead on our big bed.
"Today was a really fun day." Jughead smiled moving some hair behind my ear.
"Yeah. Archie and Veronica's baby is so calm." I laughed.
We had spent the day with Wyatt. Veronica and Archie's baby. He was just a couple months old, but they wanted to have a fun day away from the house and me and Jughead had nothing to do so we babysat.
"Their baby reminds me of why we married young." Jughead said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Just don't freak out." Jughead said.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Well we married young so we could start a family. And we have been married for a couple months now. I just thought maybe we should start trying." Jughead said softly.
I sat up looking at him. He moved his hand away from me.
"Don't you think it's too early?" I asked.
"I thought it was the reason we got married while we were still consider young. I mean that's what we talked about." Jughead said.
"I just don't know if I'm ready for that Jug." I said.
"Betty we had this all planned out, what aren't you ready for?" Jughead asked.
"It's a baby! I'm not ready to give up all my free time." I said.
"We had talked about this! Why are you so worried now? Are you worried people are gonna judge you?" Jughead asked.
I just stayed quite. He ran his fingers over mine before cupping my cheek.
"This is just between me and you. We don't need anyone else's input. We married young so we could start a family young, if they have such a problem with that then they can just leave us alone." Jughead said.
"Veronica told me how many times people see her and Archie out with Wyatt and just make dirty looks. I don't want that to happen to us. I don't want our baby to have to see those looks and hear those comments." I said softly.
"We will teach our baby that those types of people don't have a say over our life." Jughead said.
"I'm just scared Jug." I said.
"I know, and we can wait some more, but I want to do this with you." Jughead said.
"I do too, but I want to fully think about it before we do anything." I said.
"Okay." Jughead said laying a soft kiss on my lips.
I shut the lamp beside me off before laying closer to him. He wrapped his arms around me keeping me warm and making me feel safe and comfy. He always did that because he knew it's the only way I could fall asleep.
"I love you." I said.
"I love you so much more." He said softly.
THE NEXT DAY
Jughead had been at work all day. I however had made up my mind. I was ready for a baby. I was ready to be a mom. People might judge because I'm young but I wanted this. Jughead and me wanted this.
When he got home we ate dinner. I didn't say anything about my decision till that night.
"You know what we talked about last night?" I asked.
"Mhm." Jughead said.
"I'm ready. No matter what anyone says. I'm ready." I said.
He gave me a big smile before giving me a kiss.
