BETTY'S POV
"Ella, come downstairs so I can put your shoes on." I said.
Ella came down the steps with her big smile. She sat on the couch letting me slide her sandals on.
"I will come and get you from daycare after work, your gonna have so much fun!" I smiled.
"I want to come with you." She said softly.
"My work is boring. Daycare is so much fun." I said.
She latched onto me. I picked her up. Then grabbed my purse and her bag before heading to the car. Once she was in her carseat we took off.
Usually my mom would watch Ella, but my mom picked up more hours with her job, so I enrolled Ella in daycare. I knew she would end up loving it, I just had to get her there and let her let me go.
"Will there be other kids?" She asked.
"Oh yeah, so you can make a bunch of friends." I smiled.
"I don't want to make friends." She said.
"Ella you are gonna have a blast with all the other kids. I made sure it was the best daycare." I said.
"I don't want to go." She said.
"Ella." I said.
She wouldn't talk to me until we pulled up the daycare. I grabbed her bag then helped her out of her seat. She was in my arms as we walked in.
"Who do you have today?" A younger girl asked me as we walked in.
"Ella Cooper." I smiled.
"Welcome miss Ella. Do you want to go play with all the other kids?" She asked.
Ella buried her head in my shoulder.
"She is a little shy around other kids." I said.
A younger guy came in giving me a big smile. He was perfect, his face even seemed like it was glowing.
"Is this Ella?" His hot voice asked.
"It is." I smiled.
"Hi Ella. I'm Jughead, can I show you some cool toys?" He asked softly.
Ella looked at Jughead giving him a small nod. I carried her to the toys he was talking about. She got down from my arms and played with him. I slowly slipped out.
"She will be just fine and have tons of fun, it's just a change for everyone that makes it hard sometimes." The lady said.
"Yeah, she is so used to just being with my mom, but I know she will have fun." I smiled.
"She will." The lady smiled.
Once I got to work I started the usual task. Around lunch I got a text from the daycare. It was a picture of Ella on Jughead's lap. They were reading a story. I send back a quick text before continuing my lunch, but all I could think about was the perfect guy I had met this morning.
After work I went to the daycare. When I walked in the girl led me to the back where Ella and Jughead were playing with a big kitchen set.
"Mommy!" Ella giggled running towards me.
I lifted her up in my arms. She kissed my cheek.
"Did you have fun today?" I asked.
"Yeah! Jughead is the best." She giggled.
I looked at Jughead who was already looking at me.
"I have to ask you this before you leave, so will you go on a date with me Saturday?" Jughead asked.
I looked at him with big eyes before giving him a big nod.
"Yeah." I smiled.
"I'll text you where and when. I just think you are stunning." He smiled.
"Well I think you are too." I smiled.
One the way home with Ella she talked about everything her and Jughead had done all day. She loved him, and I had a feeling I would too.
