BETTY'S POV
I woke up to the sound of my bedroom door opening. I looked up seeing Jughead with a tray of food. Since we had been married he would do this on specials holidays.
"It's not my birthday or any special holiday. What's going on?" I asked slowly sitting up.
"I wanted to take care of my pregnant wife. I mean just a couple more weeks." Jughead laughed.
"I can't wait to meet her." I said placing my hand on my big stomach.
Jughead laid the tray of food on my nightstand. He placed both his hands on mine.
"Me either." Jughead said softly.
He gave me a soft kiss before helping me sit up more. I started eating the breakfast he had brought up while he found something to watch on tv. Halfway through eating I got these horrible pains, but they had been happening for a couple weeks.
"Jug, those pains are back." I said softly.
"Are you sure we don't need to go get you checked out?" He asked.
"No, last time I called and ask they said it was normal." I said.
He rubbed my stomach while I tried to finish eating. Once I was done he ran the food downstairs, then came back. As he was about to cuddle up with me his phone started ringing. I saw it was Archie. A couple minutes later he hung up.
"What's up?" I asked.
"We have a big meeting I was just told about at the office. Archie is stalling time so I can make it there without being late late. Are you gonna be okay?" He asked.
"I'll be fine. I'll just wait for these pains to past." I said.
He gave me a big kiss before changing into a nice outfit. Him and Archie owned a big business. Meaning they were always working together. Me and Veronica would usually hang out when the boys were super busy, but today I just wanted to spend time with my baby, maybe that would make her stop hurting me so bad.
"You make sure to call me if anything happens. Alright?" He asked.
"I will, go before your super late." I laughed.
He gave me another kiss before hurrying out of our bedroom. Not a second later I heard the front door shut. I grabbed the remote trying to find another show, because the one he picked was boring. The pain was slowly going away. I feel asleep but woke up an hour later to the horrible pains again. They were way worse this time.
"You have to stop hurting me baby." I said slowly getting out of bed.
I walked around me and Jug's room rubbing my stomach. Nothing was helping the horrible pains. After a couple minutes I felt water running down my leg.
"Shoot." I said.
I walked back to the bed sitting down. I called Jughead over and over but no answer. After ten minutes of no answers I called Archie who answered right away.
"Archie please tell Jug to answer me." I cried.
"Betty he's in a meeting, what's wrong." He asked.
"The baby is coming. My water broke." I cried.
I heard Archie start running. A couple moments later I heard Jughead's voice.
"I'm coming right home. It's gonna take ten minutes. I'll grab the baby bag and your bag when I get there, then we can leave." He said.
"Jug it hurts." I cried.
"I know baby, I know. Just keep breathing." He said.
I tried focusing my breath. He hung up on Archie's phone, then called me right back on his. I heard him get in the car meaning my crying was now going through his car.
"Please hurry." I breathed out.
"I am. I'm coming." He said.
After ten minutes he came running in the door hanging up. I laid my phone next to me. He ran upstairs going to the bathroom first. Once he had my bag he ran to the nursey and grabbed the baby's bag. Then he came for me.
"Can I pick you up?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said softly.
He grabbed everything putting it over his shoulders, then picked me up bridal style. Once everything was in the car he took off. We arrived at the hospital in no time. Our baby girl was born late that night.
