THIRD PERSON POV
The next morning Betty woke up with Jughead laying across her. She carefully moved his legs over to his side of the bed which woke him up.
"Morning sleepyhead." Betty laughed.
"Morning." Jughead mumbled.
He rubbed his eyes before raising up. Betty tickled his back making him start to drift off again.
"We have a hiking trip to get ready for." Betty said.
"You have a hiking trip, I'm not going." Jughead said.
"Oh yes you are." Betty said.
Betty finally was able to get Jughead out of bed. He got dressed in a tank top and shorts. Betty had a sleeveless top on with shorts, her and Veronica were almost matching, the same way with Archie and Jughead.
"Did you pack your water bottle or do you need my extra one?" Betty asked.
"You told me to pack a water bottle so I did." Jughead said.
"Perfect, fill it up." Betty said.
Once the water was filled up, and they had a bag packed for their lunch they met Veronica and Archie outside of the hotel.
"Let's get going, the sun is already bright meaning its just gonna get hotter." Veronica said.
"Mhm me and the sun have something in common." Archie said.
"You wish." Betty said.
Jughead let out a chuckle as he grabbed Betty's hand. They made their way to the mountain.
"We aren't climbing to the very top are we?" Betty asked.
"No, we aren't allowed, just a little ways up." Veronica said.
Archie stayed beside Veronica, Jughead doing the same with Betty. When the bag got to heavy for her he took it. After 20 minutes of hiking they took a break.
"I've climbed this hill, I will die upon this hill." Jughead said.
"You are such a drama queen, just like last night." Veronica giggled.
"Who comes up with these trip ideas, can't we just cuddle and watch tv all day?" Jughead asked.
"We like to get out and have fun, you should too." Betty said giving Jughead her sweet little smile.
They started hiking again. After a couple breaks they had finally climbed to the perfect picnic spot according to Veronica.
Betty and her set out a blanket while the boys got the food ready. Once everything was ready they all sat on the big blanket looking at the view the mountain offered.
"I will say, the hike was awful but the view is amazing." Jughead said snapping a picture with his camera.
"It really is. How about you and Betty stand right over there and let me take a cute picture of you guys." Veronica suggested.
Betty gave Jughead a small smile making him chuckle. He handed his camera to Veronica, then let Betty to the spot she was talking about.
"Big smiles love birds." Veronica said.
Once she had taken a couple picture Jughead did the same for Veronica and Betty, then Veronica and Archie. They all sat down to finish eating.
After an hour everyone was hot and ready to go back to the hotel. They packed everything up, then started on the way back down the mountain.
After an hour Betty and Jughead were walking into their hotel room. Betty went and took a shower to clean up while Jughead went and laid on the bed for is afternoon nap.
When Betty came back out she laid next to him. He wasn't asleep yet, he's eyes were just closed.
"I know you didn't enjoy today but thank you for coming with us." Betty said.
"It wasn't as awful as I thought it would be, plus I got a cute picture of us, which I need to look at." Jughead said.
He got up going over to his backpack. He pulled out his camera. Him and Betty looked at the pictures grinning when they saw theirs.
"We do look pretty cute." Betty said.
"You look adorable." Jughead said kissing her forehead.
The rest of the trip was as relaxing as you were gonna get with Veronica and Betty, but Jughead got to spend time with his girl and that was enough for him.
