I was sitting on my bed, just lost in my thoughts until I heard a knock on my door. I get up and leave my bedroom, walking towards the entrance. I open it up and see Sal standing there.

" Oh, hey Sal. Need something?" I ask.

" I have an update on the Gear Boy. A shocking one."

" Really? Well come in." I say. I allow him inside and lead him inside my room. I turn on the lights and we both sit down on my bed. He sets the Gear Boy in front of us.

" It can detect ghosts." He says.

".. What?"

" Once there's a spirit around, The screen lights up, then the spirit can rise up and communicate."

" That's insane! Can we test it around together?" I ask

" Yeah, sure. We can start with your apartment first and then around empty apartments."

" Sounds good." I say. We both get up and wander around my apartment.

" There doesn't seem to be anything here." He says.

" Then why was that Demon in my kitchen?"

" I'm not sure." He replies. I sigh and we leave my apartment.

" I'm gonna start with the top floor" He says, pressing the button for floor 5 as be speaks.

" Okay." I reply. The elevator reaches its destination and we both get out. He holds onto my hand as he leads me to the first room. I feel my face heat up from the touch. I stare at our intertwined hands, my heart pounding like crazy.

" Okay, I know this room actually has a ghost. A little girl." He says. He leads me inside the disgusting bathroom and holds his gear boy out with his free hand.

" Megan? Are you here? I came with a friend who'd like to meet you" Sal asks. I quickly tighten the grip on his hands when I hear a childish girly voice, while a kid comes up from the ground.

" Hello again, Sally!"
