A/N: So in my last chapter I indicated time had passed but not how much as I don't remember how long Sookie was gone. I could look it up but honestly it's my story so I can do however long as I want. So we'll say it's been a year. I'll estimate it took that long to marry two vampires, have the coronation ceremony, set up the kingdom which entails finding a home and then the guards, finding someone to take over Eric's territory, etc etc etc. That's a lot of shit to do so we'll say it's been a year. Also, image above is from trueblood.fandom but technically from True Blood the show itself so all credit to True Blood. I tried to find an image of it after it appeared rotten but couldn't.
I felt my sister return and immediately blinked back to the old Stackhouse home. I could tell Faerie did her good as she was all aglow.
"Mags!!" Sookie cried out as she flew into my arms.
"Welcome home Sooks." I said fondly as I returned her hug.
"Oh Mags it was everything you said! It was so beautiful there but dangerous too. They did want to breed me like you said. They tried to feed me this fruit that would make me have to stay. I'm so glad you told me everything it was your words in my head that kept me from eating the fruit that looked so good. Then after I refused it appeared rotten. I found our paw paw there. Earl. Or well, who we thought was our paw-paw. He came back with me but aged immediately and died. I have this watch from him for Jason." Sookie finished sadly.
"Ah yes the lumiere fruit. It does appear very enticing. We should go inside and sit. We have to let Jason know that you're ok along with Alcide. We have a lot to talk about and catch up on. A lot has changed Sooks." I said.
I took my sister and held it as we headed inside.
"Well, the house looks spotless so I suppose I haven't been gone long. It didn't feel long." Sookie said.
"It's been a year Sook. Jason has been keeping up with the house. He'll be here soon. Alcide as well. Looks like you made quite an impression on the werewolf." I teased.
"I suppose. I know it's been a year but for me it hasn't Mags. I'm not just magically over Bill. He didn't just break my heart. He betrayed me. I can't just move on." Sookie said.
"And no one is asking you too. I would never rush you Sooks. I love you through and through. No one will understand family like we Fae. We can feel the family bond. Even you can Sook and Jason as well. It's how I knew you were home or when you're in danger." I explained.
"SOOKIE?" Jason calls out as he comes barreling in.
Jason pulls Sookie into a tight hug as she returns it and soothingly rubs his back.
"It's ok Jason. I'm right here. I'm ok." Sookie replied in a calming tone.
"I was so worried about you. I'm the oldest and I can't even take care of my sisters. I lost my baby sister and now you. You both came back on your own and I couldn't do anything about it." Jason said morosely.
"Jason Stackhouse. You were a CHILD when I was taken. And honestly if you'd been here when Sookie was spirited away you would have fallen for it too. The Fae are tricky creatures. You aren't to blame." I said.
"Anyways. A lot has changed in the year you were gone Sookie. The vampires governing over vampires sentenced Bill to true death along with the MS King he conspired with. They're both dead Sooks. I'm sorry." I continued wanting to get the bad news out.
"It doesn't get worse than that does it? The changes? That was tearing off the bandaide and everything else will be good news?" Sookie asked.
"Definitely. All good news from here. Well, hopefully you think it's good news." I said as I glanced at Jason.
