We had gotten word from our spy that they got my mates out. I left with some of my guard to the meet up point to get my mates. The spy had warned me that they were high on Lilith's blood. So we were coming in prepared. I hated the thought of wrapping them in silver chains but the high they were on they'd be too strong to control. As it was the spy only got them to the meetup spot because they were crashing at the moment from the high.
We arrived in Hammond and the guards rushed forward to wrap their King and heir in silver chains so they wouldn't be able to harm anyone least of all their mate and Queen.
"I'm so grateful to you for returning to me my mates." I said with a half bow to Jade.
"Of course, my Queen, anything to serve you." Jade answered with a deep bow of respect.
"Are there any updates on the intel you've been providing?" I asked.
"Yes my Queen. The Authority plan to destroy all True Blood plants around the world to force vampires back to feeding on humans. They'll be striking on the night of the full moon in two weeks my Queen." Jade answered.
"And so it begins. We must move to strike first and destroy the Authority along with all of Lilith's blood." I said with a nod.
"What will you have of me my Queen?" Jade asked.
Her talent was seeking. Whether it be seeking information thus being a spy or seeking an individual.
"I no longer require you there at the Authority compound. Instead I would have you find Warlow and report back on his location. Do not engage as he is too powerful for one lone vampire." I ordered.
"Yes, my Queen." Jade bowed deeply again before setting off.
In my spare time of preparing for two wars I had won the support of a vampire even older than Godric. He'd be a strong ally and would take over the Mississippi Kingdom. It was decided both Godric and Eric would be unable to fight in either war. It would take time to get the effects of Lilith to wear off of them and then they'd be weakened for a bit after her blood left them. I couldn't afford to risk my mates. That is where this powerful ally came in. He knew my plan and loved it. We would no longer try for our rights but take them. No one in the human world knew I was turned. So no one would know to protect themselves from me. I'd go around to govt officials and compel them to create the laws we wanted that included being able to feed from willing humans along with the ability to own homes and businesses and such. Compel them to give us the same rights as the mortals, but unable to try us in a court of law meant for humans. I plan on compelling them to give mortal women their full rights. I might as well while I was at it. Why should the old, white men get to tell a mortal woman what she can and can't do with her body? Or even women tell other women what they can do because yes even women can be their own enemy. I digress the ancient vampire Marius didn't need to know that. He only cared about what would benefit him and his kind.
So with him joining we began to plan. He would lead one army against the Authority while I'd lead the other against Warlow. My sister would be fighting with me for justice for our family. The same day we rescued my sister and Alcide from Warlow my sister had Pam turn her. She got control over her bloodlust pretty fast just like I did. She had control and was now a force to be reckoned with. She had made the decision to be a hybrid like myself since she knew she could still go in the sun and have kids. She'd still be living. Plus, she'd be strong enough to help me kill Warlow. Since becoming a hybrid she feels more at peace as she can now control her mind reading. She can block it out, or focus on just one and block the rest, etc. I'd never seen her happier. She was finally at peace with herself and her ability.
"I want to go with you." Jessica pouted.
"Jessica you're newly turned you wouldn't stand a chance against Warlow. I'm sorry babe. You know I love you but you need to go with the second army." I explained gently.
"But my maker is going with you." Jessica slightly whined.
"Whining won't get your way Jess. You're not a child. Pam is going with us because she's strong and not a new vampire." I said with all the patience of a Saint.
"Sookie is new like me!" Jess argued.
That could have been conceived as a smart argument if Sookie was a fully turned new vampire instead of only a half one like myself with powers. So I raised my eyebrow at Jess and she let out a sigh.
"Fine, I get it. She has her witchy powers to help and that makes her strong enough. I'll go with the other army but I won't be happy about it!" Jessica said as she ran from the room.
I have to sometimes remind myself that she actually kind of is still a child. She was 18 when turned making her a legal adult but still a teenager with a brain still not fully matured.
"She loves you, you know." Pam said dryly.
"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.
"I might be her maker but she looks to you as her maker. She looks to you as her sister and her mother rolled into one. She's scared for you." Pam explained in a bored tone.
As understanding washed over me I left the room in search of Jessica. I found her in our little spot of Faerie basking in the sun. The sun shone on her red hair making the different reds in her hair stand out beautifully.
"You know nothing will happen to me, right? I will come back safe and sound." I said softly to the girl.
"You can't promise that." Jess argued.
"Yes I can, darling. I just know." I said giving her the look.
"You do?" Jess asked hopefully as she caught on.
"I do." I said.
This is where the fae use their inability to lie to manipulate people into believing them since they can't lie. For you see, I didn't actually know. I can't see anything related to my own self. But I never told her I had a vision that I'd be fine. I just believe that I'll win and thus I know. So no lie was told but Jess perceived I had a vision based off the way I stressed that I know and the look that I gave her. That is how us Fae get around our inability to lie.
"Oh thank goodness! I'm sorry I was such a brat earlier! I was just worried." Jess said as she ran and threw her arms around me.
I smiled as I hugged her back. It was then I could feel a familial bond running between Jessica and I. I'd chalk it up to Pam being my mate's "child" and Jess being her own and thus tied to me that way. But I couldn't because I didn't feel that bond with Pam. I loved Pam for all her wit but I only felt a great friendship with her. All I could assume is there are different types of soulmates out there and thus Jess is family. I hugged her tighter as I felt the bond thrumming through me.
"Your majesty. Jade has returned with news." Callum said.
"Let us go." I said with a nod as we all headed to the throne room.
A/N: AND THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS! I mean not the story. But this story is coming to an end very soon. Which is why I decided to have the battle in the next chapter. Split these two up. Because the next chapter is the second to last chapter followed by the epilogue.
Sorry for taking so long to update. It's my Teen Wolf FF fault! I couldn't figure out how to write what I wanted. I know what the plot for that chapter was but not how to go about it. So it took a while for me to write it and be happy. I'm sorry. I could have skipped to this one but I feel that's a bad habit. Then I'll end up never updating one of my stories if I start skipping.
