Above the heads of Hogwarts' students and staff alike, the January snow was visible, floating down a fair amount but fading away before it came close to coming into contact with anyone or anything. On the far right of the Great Hall sat the Slytherin table, mainly consisting of Death Eaters, or children of such, only a few of its members disagreeing with the ideology.

Sabrina Wraith sat at the centre of the table, with two other girls, Natalia Merle and Adeline Duncan, both Slytherins but neither quite as Death Eater-ish as Sabrina. Other than their contrasting opinions on the Dark Lord, the three were all quite similar, typical Slytherins: ambitious, protective, logical, despite having a few clear differences.

Adeline was the designated 'happy friend', purely through comparison to the others. They described her as the glue of their trio. She was somehow the most relaxed while also being the most stressed. She was the type to be jolly and perfectly fine, but one thing could be said and she'd be worrying as if it were the end of the world.

Natalia was the type to act like she hated her friends, but be the first to defend them against the slightest insult. She and Sabrina clashed the most, due to their matching bad tempers. While Adeline kept the group together, it had been Natalia who brought them together in the first place, a fact she would never let the others forget.

Sabrina was the overthinker who didn't think. While she was constantly stressing (in a very different way to how Adeline did) and overthinking her decisions, she was also quite impulsive, and didn't think about thinks when she was in the moment, which didn't help her overthinking sessions later on. She liked to think of herself as the leader, and it was a close tie between her and Natalia, though she would never admit that.

The three sat at their house table, with Sabrina at one side on her own, and the other two opposite as she explained her conversation with the Blacks and the Dark Lord, and went through her overthought plan.

"Step 1 is to approach him, simple-"

"There are several steps?" Natalia interrupted, a groan brewing.

"When do Sab's plans ever not have several steps?" Adeline said.

"When do Sab's plans ever not fail?"

"Oy. Ears open, gobs shut." Sabrina snapped, "Step 2: start to flirt and gain his trust, and then I can't figure out whether Step 3 should be to become his 'girlfriend' or to befriend his friends."

"Definitely befriend his friends," Adeline said, "If you put a timing on when you become his girlfriend, it'll be too unrealistic."

"I agree." Natalia nodded, "Gaining his friends' trust would get you closer to all of them, which would probably make him trust you more."

"You need to make sure you're being nice, too. If you're too.. you, he'll never completely trust you. Be as Gryffindor as you can."

"Ew, fine. So, after that, can I get him to ask me to be his girlfriend? I need to add it in somewhere, or it won't work properly."

"I guess.." Natalia shrugged, "Just don't stress over the timings too much, or like Ads said, it won't be realistic."

"Alright.." Sabrina rearranged and rewrote the steps on her parchment, which had the title 'Sirius-Voldemort Plan' (she had decided she would write it up properly later on, once she got all of the planning out of the way). By the end of their meal that night, the girls had come up with a ten step plan to bring Sirius to Voldemort's side.

Sirius-Voldemort Plan
Step 1: approach
Step 2: flirt + begin to gain trust
Step 3: befriend friends
Step 4: become 'girlfriend'
Step 5: say "I love you"
Step 6: introduce idea of returning home
Step 7: convince him to return home
Step 8: bring him to Orion & Walburga (easy way)
Step 9: if 7 fails, skip straight to 8 (hard way)
Step 10: success

Sabrina took the parchment to the dormitory with her, and placed it in the back of her sock draw, hiding it. The following morning, the plan could commence. She hoped for it to be over and done with by the end of Fifth Year, mainly so that she could focus on OWLs, but also so that she didn't have to pretend to tolerate the current Sirius (who would hopefully change for the better once she introduced Voldemort's ideology) for too long.

Potions, surprisingly, was one of Sirius Black's favourite lessons. He hated the subject, but the lessons themselves were just an opportunity for him and James Potter to have a laugh and make fun of Severus Snape, arguably their favourite hobby.

This lesson in particular was not a practical one, but one where Professor Slughorn would talk and all they had to do was take notes for revision purposes. But of course, at the back of the classroom, all the two Gryffindors did was whisper and try not to laugh in the almost silent classroom.

In the row in front, Sabrina Wraith tried her hardest not to snap at them, aware that getting on Sirius' bad side wouldn't be smart considering she planned to complete Step 1 at the end of the lesson. She tapped her long fingernails on the table impatiently, partially waiting for the boys behind her to stop whispering bad jokes and puns, and partially for the lesson to end so that she could talk to Sirius.

Adeline, who sat next to her, soon placed her hand on top of her friend's loud fingernails as an alternative to ripping her own ears off. Sometimes the smallest noises frustrated her, and now was one of those times. Between the two girls, the stress levels were unsurpassable.

After what felt like the longest lesson of Sabrina's lifetime, Professor Slughorn finally dismissed the class. Sabrina hadn't got much written down, but assumed she'd be able to copy off of Adeline later on, so didn't worry. Sirius and James had left quickly, and Sabrina had to harshly push through the crowd of taller students to get to them.

When she did, she grabbed Sirius' arm, causing him to spin around.

"I need to talk to you."
