Sirius looked down at the Slytherin cautiously, as did his friends, two of which had been sitting further forward and had joined the others after leaving the classroom. The rest of the class mainly walked on to their Common Rooms, as it was the last lesson of the day, but Adeline stood at a corner, watching not so discretely. Remus Lupin eyed her suspiciously, while also keeping an eye on Sabrina.
"Yes?" Sirius demanded, unsure as to why Sabrina would be talking to him without malicious intent (his perception of Slytherins wasn't exactly fair on most of them, however with Sabrina he wasn't exactly wrong).
"Alone." Sabrina clarified, her proud posture perfect as ever.
"Anything you say to me can be said to my friends." he said sternly, reminding Sabrina a little of his father.
"I'm not going to hurt you," she sneered, "I just want to talk. And your clique can wait outside wherever we talk with that little invisibility cloak that you all think nobody knows about, so that they can hear if anything happens."
"And what if you decide to cast a silence spell or something?" James queried.
"I'll give Adeline my wand, as long as Sirius gives his to one of you. I'm happy to go unarmed if you are too." she reasoned. Sirius, James and Peter had only just noticed Adeline standing at the corner, and eyed her almost as suspiciously as they had Sabrina.
"Fine." Sirius sighed, and followed her into an empty classroom.
Adeline, James, Remus and Peter stood outside, Adeline holding Sabrina's wand and James holding Sirius'. Adeline stood a few feet away from the three Gryffindors, aware of what they most likely thought of them.
"Y'know," she caught their attention, making eye contact with James, "We could have a two-wand duel if we wanted to." When all she received were judging, slightly concerned looks, "Relax, I'm kidding. There are three of you and one of me anyway."
The four remained in silence, the boys listening for any signs that their friend was in danger. Why Sabrina Wraith, of all people, would want to have a private conversation with Sirius was beyond them, and they didn't dare ask Adeline.
Inside the classroom, Sirius sat on top of a table, across from Sabrina, who was doing the same. While she was very relaxed, he was slightly on edge, unsure of what she could possibly want to talk about, but certain that he didn't want to trust her, and probably couldn't.
"How are you today?" she asked 'sweetly'.
"What do you want, Wraith?" he snapped.
"No need to be so mardy, Black. I just wanted to talk."
"What about?"
"I'll make this simple for you," she gave a slightly patronising smile, "You're hot, I'm hot. We should date."
"I don't date Death Eaters, hot or not." he returned her smile.
"I'm not a Death Eater," when he scoffed, she pulled her sleeve up, hoping that her concealment charm held up, "See? You need to stop assuming that all Slytherins are Death Eaters."
"Just because you don't have the mark doesn't mean you're not a Death Eater. I know what your brother's done."
"Sam's got different views to me. Our parents disagreed with his views, too, they were killed for trying to defeat the- Voldemort." she was only half lying - she left out the part where her parents had been by his side for years before deciding they didn't like the thought of killing innocent people.
His eyes narrowed questioningly, "Really?"
"Really." she looked up at him innocently, "And I completely agree with everything they stood for."
"And you're not even friends with any Death Eaters? Duncan? Merle? They're not either?"
"No," she clarified, "And, as much as I hate to admit it, I've fancied you for a while. And I'd really appreciate it if you'd give this a go."
He pondered for a moment, deep in thought. His mind kept flashing from sceptical to (almost) trusting. He took a deep breath, "Meet me on the Quidditch Pitch at seven on Friday." And with that, he walked out of the room, leaving her smirking proudly for a moment before strutting out herself. Her plan was going well so far, and she couldn't wait to get the rest of it in action.

"I may not be a dating expert, but I know there are far better ways to ask someone out." Natalia scolded humorously when the other two filled her in on what had made them late to meet her. They were walking up the stairs to their dormitory, which, thankfully, only the three of them shared.
"I've never asked anyone out before!" Sabrina defended, and walked towards her bed. An envelope with a black wax seal and her name on the front lay in the middle: she picked it up and held it in the air, her eyes questioning as she looked at the only person who'd been in the dorms since that morning.
"Oh, right," Natalia said, "An owl brought that in for you just after I got back."
Sabrina shrugged and opened it. The writing inside was elegant, almost too slanted to read:
Sabrina,
I hope all is going to plan. I don't expect you to have made too much progress just yet, but the more the better. Your brother ensures me that you will have a method worked out, and I hope it is successful. Samuel seems very confident that it will be, and I expect not to be disappointed.
I will be writing weekly, and never from the Owlery; we cannot risk being intercepted. I don't expect a reply unless I ask for one, or there is something important that you think I or anyone I am in contact with should know.
Regards,
Walburga Black
After reading the letter in Walburga's degrading, judgmental voice, Sabrina folded it up and put it in her sock drawer, next to the list of her plan. After checking off Step 1, she took out a plain piece of parchment and her quill, and her pride took over. Despite being on the same side of the war, Sabrina despised Walburga.
Walburga,
While I'm aware that you did not ask me to write back, I've decided to.
Things are going well so far, step one of my plan is complete, and please tell Samuel that I appreciate his confidence in my capabilities.
I will be sure to write if anything happens.
Regards,
Sabrina Wraith
